Following along will be taking this same trip on odyssey in March. We are also traveling from Chicago area. This will be the third attempt at trying to take this trip due to cancellations. Happy cruise day!

I am a Hilton honors member, so I already get the bottled water (although it was not in our room like it usually is) , and we also get internet. Perhaps not the blazing speed of the “top tier” mentioned here, but it works!

we loved Odyssey! Hope the third times a charm for you! Definitely take the North Star at night. I posted some photos of it in my LIVE Review last November. The views are awesome!

I wondered if you were already Hilton Honors if they upgraded your internet type. But the FB credit is a realy good deal, most breakfasts at port area hotels are $18-20 to start.

Watching the news this morning, and with the dew point, todays “real feel” temperature will be 105 to 110 🥵🥵 apparently the hottest day here  so far in 2022.…lucky us!

Showed up at 12:25 (assigned boarding was from 12:30-1 pm) checked in and on the ship by 12:40. Checked in at muster.  Booked a three night dining package. Signing up for shows was relatively painless via the app, 8 out of 10 comedy shows were already booked by 1 pm. Recommend getting an early boarding time!

I am definitely following along. We are doing the same Itinerary Oct 15 on the first leg of a B2B. We have taken many Caribbean cruises, but in  33 years of cruising this will be our first time to Aruba and Curaçao.   I think ours goes to Labadee first though not last. Have a wonderful time.

Great start to your review. I will be following along. Hey question as I'm curious what do you do with the dogs while away? Board them, Have a house sitter?

 A combination of both. We have a great in home dog sitter but the puppy is a HANDFUL! 😂

 

we found a great family owned boarding facility that is crate free, and they only board a limited number each day! 
 

they have pools, and a great open area to run in….as you can see she’s having a horrible time and misses me immensely 😂

It’s been forever since we’ve been to Aruba, and never been to curaçao 😊 I’m excited!

I will always be “Team Sabor”  Not a huge fan of Playmakers, so happy to be able to enjoy the bacon wrapped chicken

jalapeño bites and some good guacamole 😋

Thanks for sharing. Looks good. I don't remember trying Sabors the last time we were on Allure but plan to in October.   Was this lunch or supper?

We have a couple places like that.  For his day stays he goes to one that's 5 minutes from where Vikki works and fur our holidays we use anther place that does boarding.  Play all day and by bed time the dogs just collapse as they are exhausted.  Getting home today after being gone for 2 weeks.  I suspect Merlin will sleep for a week.

I will miss Sabor.  Thankfully I will be on Allure at least a couple more times before she goes to drydock

I agree but what I will miss the most is the unobstructed view of the Boardwalk. I am in the minority I know, but I loath the Abyss. I so wish they would leave one sister without it. Is she finally getting her full amplification in spring of 24? I haven't read when that was happening. I also wonder where her new home will be after she does.  I hope to hope on her for a couple of short sailings when she is in Port Canaveral doing 3/4 nights.

 Dinner, but I thing the menu is the same. We will probably have another lunch here this week!

Agree about abyss!  The view can’t be beat!

I had heard sometime in 2024.  I think that even after her amplification she will still do thec3/4 day itineraries.

Same! They run and play hard at day care! I’m sure Merlin will be happy to see you!💕 hope your cruise(s) we’re great!
