Ander026 Posted August 27, 2022 #1 Share Posted August 27, 2022 I am cruising on the 2nd of September which is in a week. I have applied and paid for the Bermuda Travel Authorization back on August 11th. I am just wondering when they will send the email on whether it has been accepted or denied. Everything else is done except for this Travel Authorization to come back from Bermuda. Thanks everyone for their help Robert A.
gadaboutgal Posted August 27, 2022 #2 Share Posted August 27, 2022 We did not receive our Authorization until the week before sailing. I believe others had the same experience so don't panic yet.
Wineaux007 Posted August 27, 2022 #3 Share Posted August 27, 2022 They should have sent you an email saying they received your application. Just "reply" to that email asking the status of your Bermuda Travel Authorization. You should get your approval the next day. It worked for me. At this point not likely as the $40 pp is gladly accepted. If I recall - we applied about 3 weeks out with no issues. Merion_Mom Posted August 28, 2022 #9 Share Posted August 28, 2022 They are deadly serious about this $40 fee. They are charging EVERYONE, even their own citizens. If a Bermudian flies to (for example) NYC for a vacation, that Bermudian has to pay $40 to return home. 😮
