Need to be more specific as the Music Hall differs between classes of ships, and even within the same class.

Really, I like the Music Hall on Anthem.  Always thought it had a good feel.

Radio, GREAT STUFF as always! Love the high quality videos as we sail vicariously through you 🙂

Question on Nassau if I may. It has been noted that it is a pretty long walk from Oasis dock to terminal street area. It appears that they have now installed coverings at least to shade from sun. As someone that has some respiratory problems long hot walks are not in my wheelhouse anymore. Is walk as much as it appears distance wise?

Also curious, do you still have to leave ship on B2B and reenter/checkin for second sailing? As many sailings as we have done through the years Linda and I have never actually done a back to back. But we have seen groups of B2B'ers walked through pier side terminal area.

Thanks

George in NY - Oasis 10/2/2022 we're ready!

Just to let you know our experience with a back to back. We waited in one of the lounges and customs came and looked at our paperwork, then we were issued a new sea pass card and then were free to go back to our rooms, roam the ship or whatever. We did not need to leave the ship

RADIO,

Looking at the current weather conditions,  it doesn't look good for the sailing out of Bayonne tomorrow, looks like Florida will be hit by Ian on Tuesday, is there anyway to find out while on board, if there are any plans to reroute?

Thx

Liz

Hello everyone, and good evening. The weather has been pleasant most of the day. I'm happy that it has been sunny all day, but when you step in the shade, it feels kind of cold. It should be a cold night when the sun goes down in about 15 minutes.

Oasis of the Seas is scheduled to pick up the pilot around 4am at the Sandy Hook pilot station. We should be passing under the Verrazano Bridge by 5am. Captain Tore suggested that we should be alongside the pier in Cape Liberty by 6:00 am.

I've had a great 2 weeks on board the beautiful Oasis of the Seas. I really did not do everything that I had planned, but that is a reason for me to return. I have plans to sail on Anthem of the Seas, and Vision of the Seas, plus another "TBD" in 2023. Who knows, I may be back in 2022. . .

I will be posting again before Debarkation tomorrow morning, but I would like to say Thank You for all of the positive comments, and suggestions. I love doing "LIVE" posts and can't imagine going on a cruise without posting.

Everything is packed except for the "Radio Press Room". Thanks for tuning in.

Thanx for taking us armchair cruisers along for the ride these past 2 weeks.  Enjoyed the vicarious sights and sounds along the way.  Following along on a "Live" Radio cruise is almost as good as being on a cruise with Radio live.  Looking forward to sharing your next outing and to sharing a ship with you again one day soon.

Thank you. That is very nice of you to say. I am sure that the Sea will be calling me again soon.

Hello everyone, and good morning. Today is the final day of "LIVE" from Oasis of the Seas.

Wow, it was cold outside when we passed under the Verrazano Bridge. We backed into the Passenger Terminal at Cape Liberty just before 6: 00am. The first passengers started debarkation at about 6:30 am.

Breakfast started early on board as the Windjammer Marketplace opened at 5:30 and Park Cafe opened at 6. Cafe Promenade of course has been open all night.

The "Radio Pressroom"  has been packed as well as my carry-on and backpack. Since I am driving, I will be leaving the ship later today. I think I only slept for about 2 hours last night and I will be spending the night in New Jersey before driving home tomorrow.

There are many pics, many vids and several time lapse clips that I did not post over the last 14 nights. I will try to post several of them over the next several days. Wi-Fi on the ship is okay for text and pics, but sending vids is much slower.

Thanks once again for all your support, and nice comments. Here are a few pics from this morning.

Thank you seadog67 for the very nice comments. It doesn't really take too long. I post on multiple channels at the same time, and it only takes about 1 hour for morning and 1 hr for an evening post.

Radio, Thanks for the great posts and for taking us along. This is my first time following you, but certainly won't be the last. The past two weeks went by very quickly. Your reports have been quite informative and will help in planning my future cruise. As good as your posts are (and they really are excellent), I can only imagine how much better they will be once Starlink is activated and you can post videos easily.

Safe travels my friend... Until next time...
