South Beach

Ingot there around noon and I was able to find a place in the shade… I count on people getting off the ship at 8AM and realizes that it’s so hot and need air conditioning by noon 😂

Agree, Simmeon is the best.

Really enjoyed his stand up comedies on

previous cruises.

Ahhh, the sea of luggage, the part of the

cruise we don't like.  It means time to go home.

Nice to see that you will continue onto the

next cruise.

Sorry I missed you I would have liked to hook up. It was a great week on Symphony. I’ll start my “As if Live review tomorrow focused on the UDP. Spent yesterday at Coco Cay Beach Club were it was not crowded and was very chill unlike the very crowded Oasis pool. Wish we would have booked a B2B since the second leg is going eastern. Great job on the review.

Ny view at the Beach Club.

I saw the line because I was in it. Our Internet info was not in our cabin so I had to go down and stand in that mess.

I thought if I catch COVID this week this is where I would catch it.

Ahhh okay… yeap … I totally get it!  It does get very hot in there… I mean very very very hot… enough to sweat out all those calories I put in! 😆. I go there for the hot tub … once I am fried and steamed I am out of there and hitting the soft serve for a cold one!  I will report back on how it goes this week!

We snagged a day bed in front of the open window in the solarium. Perfect place with a perfect breeze.

Day 3

150 Central Park

I have to be honest .. this fell way below expectations… the food didn’t taste great like before… the pumpkin soup is usually the highlight but it was not… I had a better version at MDR on Oasis.  Disappointed but life goes on… I only made 1 reservation here this week and that’s enough for me!

Interesting ! I loved CP150. We ate there twice.

I guess everyone’s palate is different. The only thing I found lacking was the Lobster Thermidor. Details in my review.

The quick change was my favorite part!  They are still the same couple from March !

I would love to know how they did that? It was the highlight of the show.

Have you noticed any nicer bourbon selections in the bars? I know everyone is having supply chain issues, but was just curious.

Thanks!

I was pleasantly surprised at the bourbon and whiskey selections. Much better than in the past. Schooner Bar had Whistle Pig. Most of the bars had Buffalo Trace. The pub had the biggest selection with Elijah Craig, Four Roses, Angels Envy, Old Forester, Makers, Gentlemen Jack, Jack Daniels, and Woodford Reserve. I was a very happy camper all week.

150 was by far our favorite restaurant on Symphony as well.  We will post our reviews tomorrow.

Like Sea Dog said everyone’s palate and taste is different and I am glad that you liked 150 Central Park.  It is a very nice place but I just didn’t think it was as good as 150 Central Park on Harmony or even the Oasis 😆

I am so glad that you had a wonderful cruise on my favorite ship!  I can not wait to read all about it when I get home next week.  Wi-Fi is spotty as we are rockin and rollin a bit this week… last week I didn’t even know we moved … this week I had to get off the treadmill because I thought I was going the slip and fall.

Thanks for the detailed list of bourbons. Glad to see there is a decent selection onboard! Definitely miss the older days when they had high end bourbon on board every cruise!
