Hahahah… they are ! The bill including tip was $10.00 USD.  I get a smear of that avocado back home on my toast and it’s like $15.00 before they charge me for eggs and a drink!

I dont know ifit's just me, but I get nervous during the ice show. I never want anyone to fall. I get anxious that

 Someone is going to fall. They are all great, but I guess falls in a show are inevitable.

Then you would be very anxious tonight… I saw 1977 again and there were lots of falls including one where when he is supposed to flip her over but when he flipped her he lost his grip so she kind of fell down but recovered like a professional … it was bad… the worst part was at the end when the skater comes up onto the audience, one of them tripped and fell face first into the steps, people around him asked if he was okay… he did not break character and smiled but you can tell it hurt!

for any one cruising next week … Hibachi is almost full due to early online booking… you must must must make reservations as soon as you board because the genies will also be calling to get there people in!!!  I could make the reservation for you but unfortunately everyone on here will know your room number so it won’t be a good idea.

Wow that was a long day … apparently I missed the down pour that happened while I was down town … lots of people got soaked … all I heard was thunder here and there… weather… you just never know!

Apparently there is a disturbance next week that will affect the Western Caribbean… thank goodness we are going East next week … but I saw Al Rooker on TV and that’s not a good sign for anyone that has to worry about the hurricane!

There was an error on the compass that said no reservations required so I went to the show but then when I got there they said you need a reservation… so I pulled out my phone and show them the compass and they had a discussion and told me it wrong but I said how could I know it’s wrong when it says it right here… more back and forth and now a manager got involved and before you know it the show was open to all…. Unfortunately tonight there were lots of falls … bad falls … including one crashing into the box they have around the rink… it was rough I felt bad for them!

My first wonderland experience was not great … it took 3 hours for dinner … I wanted to cancel and switch to Hooked but I was asked to give them another try so I did.. WOW… it was blazing fast… 45 minutes later I was done!  This just tell you that you have to speak up while you are on the cruise… don’t wait until you get home and post about it on CC!

Oh no. I would have been on the edge of my seat during all those falls. And feeling bad for them. I hope everyone gets some rest tonight and feels better tomorrow.

Have you noticed any nicer bourbon selections in the bars? I know everyone is having supply chain issues, but was just curious.

Normally it's a pretty good show, unless there's bad weather.

I am on symphony in 3 weeks. Out of curiosity, regarding your poor experience with Wonderland, when you say dinner took 3 hours, do you mean you were seated at a table and it took them 3 hours to bring all courses? Or, was it you had to wait for a while before you got a table because they were full and overbooked or something and messed up your reservation?

 

I am just wondering because I am excited to bring my 3 daughters here.

I'm currently on the Symphony, great photos, food in the Windjammer looks a lot better than it is, tommrow is Perfect Day at CoCo Cay, looking forward to a steak and cheese with grilled peppers and onions.

The bourbon selection is best at Wonderland… try the Smoke Ring!  The cold smoke makes the difference!  Other than that the bourbon selection is tight… not a whole lot of choices pre Covid.
