Day 5 St Thomas

Shortly after 8 am and we’re still sailing. We’re scheduled to arrive at 11:00.

Room service arrived at the dedicated time slot. Interesting I have 2 coffee mugs and various sugars however I did not order coffee or tea. 🤔

No spoon for the oatmeal. I’ll improvise.

You need to tell them to add "oatmeal" to the spoon reminder typed at the bottom of this list that I saw taped on Constellation's galley wall two weeks ago!!

Loving this detailed review.  Thank you.  We drove down to Tampa and viewed the ship in port as you left on Friday.  We booked this cruise for February and are. Rey excited.

Good morning

Thanks for following along. If there is anything I can answer, feel free to post the question. Some days I’m enjoying doing a “bunch of nothings”.

@mahdnc

Good morning

Thank you again for the inside tip. I was surprised oatmeal was delivered because it’s not on the card. I decided to write in my choice of cereal.

Nice! Enjoy St. Thomas, a most picturesque port.

Captains Club Coffee Lounge

I decided to check this out in hopes of getting pictures. When I entered a staff member checked my card and advised me the buffet is no longer. All continental. I snapped a few pictures.
It’s located in Qsine from 8 to 10 am daily.

Some 2024/25 sailings were released last night including some I didn't expect yet (Norway and trans canal). With the Black Fri promo in effect, you may want to visit the Future Cruises Dept...

My mom’s cabin is above a smoking area. She’s in 6012 accessible ocean view. Guest services called to say cabin steward will do a special cleaning of the walls. I walked the hall and the smell is only over a short distance.

Here’s a few pictures of the accessible cabin. 64413FEC-A681-4694-B798-4009B1118159.thumb.jpeg.0c8eb4dd33328e8627628123f1acdb83.jpeg

We were in 6028 for the Transatlantic and smelled cigarette smoke in the hallway everyday.  We just figured someone was smoking in one of the two particular cabins that it "seemed" to be coming from. We never thought it would be from an outdoor smoking area!  Actually, reported it once (for safety) to our cabin steward who seemed surprised by our complaint.  Once inside the cabin, and even on our balcony, we could not detect the smell.

It appears my DH and I are on the same itinerary in February. I apologize if I missed it- but what are you doing in port? Ship excursions or on your own? Staying on board for a quiet day? We have never been to any of the ports and my husband is a history buff. I have a feeling I will be looking at lots of forts. Hoping for one glorious beach day but not sure which port would be best. St. Thomas? St. Kitts? Thanks for the time you have taken in posting and sharing!

We had OBC to use and booked ship excursions in 3 of the 5 ports. We’ve been to all ports previously with the exception of Puerto Plata.

I’m not a beach person however many people visit Megan’s Bay in St Thomas.

St Kitts has lots of history.

St Maarten has tours that visit the Dutch and French side with a stop at the beach.

Check out the ports of call board here on cruise critic.

only constellation and while on the island drive we saw a Disney ship at the other dock.

That is nice it is so uncrowded.  The last time we visited St Thomas, it was a 6 cruise ship day and unfortunately our ship, Eclipse, was the odd man out as there was dock space for only 5.  So it was a tender port for us.

Thanks for posting, we are in St Thomas twice this winter and it looks like Oasis one port day and Wonder the other! 🙀. Crown Bay will be crowded!!

Ship day both days!

Cheers!

One section of the dining room not being used for dinner. This is deck 5. It’s been like this every night. 635CBA48-1E2F-4C11-B613-A7FA2CBD5726.thumb.jpeg.b3b2437b911c4ee4025bc49bcf924d63.jpeg

It was like that during the Connie's recent TA.  1547 passengers.

We had main seating and we were located in the front of the dining room on Deck 5.  We had a full view of how empty the port side of the Deck 5 MDR was.

Day 6 beautiful St Kitts

Off in the distance Robert Redford’s house.

This is a Celebrity tour - accessible St Kitts. I highly recommend it. Minimal walking and excellent guide providing descriptions of the sights. Purchased pre boarding $38.99 each.
