Black Friday prices on website are fluctuating.

I've seen the same excursion show up as two different prices. After booking the below excursion, the price in the cart was $58.99 per person. Check the math if you're booking!

Wish I could get that lucky.  Nothing for my cruise has been on sale at all.

Yup.  Refresh the page before buying.  Then it goes into shopping cart possibly at different price.  Check.  Then purchase and get kicked out of Cruise Planner.  But purchase is still in cart so don't try buying again - just go back into Planner, then cart and continue.  Or get kicked out while confirming purchase and item isn't in cart because purchase actually went through.  So check Order History before trying to buy again....

 

Been a tough couple of days trying to buy stuff.

I checked a cruise price for September , same date, same ship , same cabin .

Price is identical as it was a couple of weeks ago.

No sale prices for me.😟

One of my cruises dropped in price too, but unless I want to sit on hold for 2+ hours, I can't call in for a reprice.  

 

For cruise planner items, it's frustrating  Yesterday I noticed that the initial page had a lower price then when you click into the item to purchase it. Heard many others reporting the same (could be OPs issue too).  Very frustrating. 

 

Also, it seems to be dynamic pricing. Yesterday we purchased an excursion.  Today when I checked, the price went up.  Good that we purchased when we did, but the existing sale isn't necessarily a static price during the Black Friday time.

The TA did the repricing checks in about 10 minutes for all 9, and she answered the phone on 2 rings with zero hold time!

 

Downside is my TA isn’t a part of Royal Up so there’s that.  But I got $570 off of Royal’s suite price, so there’s that bonus, haha.

 

If someone started a TA that guaranteed to watch price drops and cruise planner changes, they’d make tens of millions!

I called my TA and let her wait to connect with RCCL for almost 3 hours while I monitored with my cell phone. Yes, it was a long time, but I got a reduction of $636, so worth it to me! 😃

Is there added tax?  I've looked at all my purchases and some even with the 50% sale are more than what I paid. Buyer beware.

It's not a tax situation. The website showed one price and rang up another. I see the price today is $58.99, which is what it charged me yesterday.

 

Meanwhile, other sales seemed to have ended and other prices dropped today.

The same thing happened to us.  Prices were one thing in the cruise planner, then clicking in it went down, then back up in the cart.
