Any difference in a 5 day cruise vs a longer one?

I booked a 5 day cruise on the Escape. I’ve never been on an NCL cruise shorter than 7 days. On another cruise line, there are some differences in the cruise experience on a 5 day vs a 6 day or longer cruise. Are there any differences on NCL?

If you're a casino player, your bank account will be (should be) larger after a five day than a 7!!

ahhhh, that's the key.  I'm only taking 5 day cruises from now on..... :)

Absolutely true!  But you’re more likely to earn a free cruise on a longer cruise than a shorter one.  😂

Seriously, though, personally even a 7 day is too short for me.  You’re just getting into vacation mode and it’s time to get off.  😢. I prefer the 10+ day sailings, regardless of what extras you may get for the longer sailings.  There’s also fewer kids and drunks on the longer sailings.  That’s a plus for me.

We have found the nine to eleven day cruises seem to be just right. Not too short, not too long. Two weekers seem a tad too long, and a weeks cruise short by two or three days.
