Yes, see Nova Scotia Lobster Casserole below. We did not have it this time, but did on the Apex last year. Here is a picture:

Here is the first direct observation of the lines at the Pool Bar while in Grand Cayman!!

 

 

 

It’s early, 11:30am, but the bartenders outnumber the guests. More later …..

Seems like Celebrity are skipping 2 main shows this week.  I didn't see the theater show ARTE in your dailies, nor did I see Dreams in Eden.   Have they made any mention as to why they are not performing those shows?

 

The group from last week mentioned that a new cast was brought on and ARTE wasn't performed last week either.   

 

Just wondering if this a new cast turnover issue or if they are dropping / changing those shows.

Elements is being performed tonight at 7 and 9 and , according to the app, again tomorrow at 7 and 9. 
 

Our Lady Valentine, a rock group, was originally shown tomorrow at 7 and 9, but now is only listed tomorrow at 8 in the Club for 30 minutes. Too bad they sounded great and we were looking forward to it. 
 

No mention as to why.

Our Lady Valentine are fantastic. Saw them on the Silhouette last year and they informed me they would be on my Beyond B2B later this month. They usually do a big theatre show, so I wonder what has happened! 
 

edit: from their instagram, one of the 4 performers was ill last week- I wonder if he has not recovered yet. They performed as a trio last week so I wonder if they’ve been demoted to The Club until they are back as a 4

They were on the Beyond in October. I Enjoyed their cover of Queen's Bohemian Rapsody.  They did a followup show in the Grand Plaza where they did some other types of music that was less suited for their voices and their renditions were OK. The name is one of the original band member's daughter.

Bummed that they are apparently not doing the full show. Sounded great, sorta like Phoenix that we have seen multiple times on Oasis of the Seas.

Lunch at LeGrand Bistro was excellent. I think it’s a bit of a hidden gem. Everything is so flavorful and breads and cheeses are excellent. I suppose the recent 50% price increase isn’t helping.

I can’t say enough on what a wonderful job they did redesigning the Sunset Bar. It is a stunning area with tons of seats, multiple levels and two plunge pools.

So, it appears that Our Lady Valentine will be in the Theatre at 7 and 9 tonight! Looking forward to that. 
 

Last night we went to see Elements. Lots of singing, dancing and acrobatics. The design of the stage along with that fabulous screen wall behind it made for an entertaining show. I found myself just staring at the wall many times.

Well, the plan was a quick dip in the Solarium pool, but it’s a very cloudy and rocky ride today with a good chance of rain so there is not a chair to be had. Looks like everyone that may be outside isn’t. 
 

So decided to head to the Retreat Bar for lunch. Windy but no crowds.

Our favorite spot is definitely Cafe alBacio.
