MDR Menu Questions

Hello,

We are trying to book some specialty dining and we go in the app a few times a day and notice the MDR dinners change.  We are trying to pick out the three least liked dinners in the MDR and going to the specialty restaurants those evenings only, the app keeps changing the days and what is offered, such as yesterday it said day 3 has tilapia, turkey and gnocci and now it shows as day 4 having those items.

I will be on the Beyond, has anybody recently been on this ship on the eastern itinerary and can verify what they had to help us.

Right now it says: (just mentioning 2-3 items)

1- jerk chicken, tortellini, pork chop

2- cobia, steak dianne

3- turkey parm

4- tilapia, turkey, gnocci

5- duck breast, veal, and hate

6- lobster, leg of lamb

7- sea bass, lamb shoulder

Can anybody verify if this is what you had on those particular evenings if you can recall?  We really trying to choose the nights for specialty dining and like to book them up asap.  Thank you.

All four main dining rooms have the same menu, with the exception of a few "ethnic" selections that reflect the theme of that restaurant. Food is not earth shattering in any of the four restaurants,

so chill, and just go and find something you like to eat.  Food will not be the highlight of your cruise,

unless, possibly you splurge for a "Specialty" restaurant----we can afford it, we just don't see the point for the price.  We'll wait until we get home and have a nice meal at the Capital Grille...and know it's going to be very high quality, not tough and overcooked. There is also the Oceanview Cafe buffet in the evening with a very, very pared down menu--- if you don't like to sit and wait endlessly to be served.  If we cannot get a table for two, we usually end up in the Oceanview...

Also on your menu you will find 4 entrees that are the same each night for the for restaurants.   They also have 4 entree's on the anytime menu and then you have the Children's menu.    Just in case they also have a vegetarian menu

Not only is the app often inaccurate until you board, you really cannot count on past cruise history to let you know what might be on the menu for what night.  While it often the same, it can and does change.  While it does make it a little trickier to plan specialty dining, that's also the way it was before the app every existed.  You pay your money, and you take your chances.

Can you, once you board, change the nights of specialty reservations if the MDR menus change to something you want on those nights?

You can always ask, but it depends on availability.
