Sigyn Posted February 25, 2023 #1 Share Posted February 25, 2023 I'll be on Royal Caribbean in five weeks, and I'm interested in booking a Celebrity cruise for summer 2024. I won't be on my next Celebrity cruise until July this year. Would I be able to book the Celebrity cruise while on RCCL and get the benefits of booking while on board such as reduced deposits, etc? Or do I need to wait until I'm on the Millennium in July to book next year's cruise and get those deals?

Rare whitshel Posted February 27, 2023 #4 Share Posted February 27, 2023 We do it all the time, book Rccl while on Celebrity and book Celebrity while on Rccl. Now we tried to book Rccl while on Carnival but that was a no go. Not sure why 🤔

Cruise a holic Posted February 27, 2023 #6 Share Posted February 27, 2023 We also book the other on both. If memory serves me correct, you might not get the same cruise credits.
kokopelli-az Posted February 27, 2023 #7 Share Posted February 27, 2023 We booked a Royal cruise while on the Equinox in November. We got the same perks as if we had purchased it while on a Royal cruise.

You get the CAS cruise credits, tier level perks/benefits, eg diamond and above balcony discounts and any other offers associated with RC for that specific cruise when booking onboard Celebrity. No different if booking directly with RC or online.
iceleven Posted February 28, 2023 #10 Share Posted February 28, 2023 What is the advantage of booking on the ship instead of directly with the cruise line. More cruise credits?

More cruise credits? No. For Celebrity a reduced deposit and OBC for booking on board.
