That is very interesting that your husband receives the best offer the last night of the cruise . That tells me yes they are actively monitoring play .We have heard that the slot play gets more attention than say table play ;which also makes sense as the slots are the best payback to the house in any casino .just look at the sq footage dedicated to slots vs the sq footage dedicated to table fames Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

You need to look at the lower left hand corner when your cabin card is activated in the slot machine. The purple tier is 50,000 points and above. I am not sure the breakdown for the yellow tier. 10,000 to 49,999 points possibly. Silver is the lowest tier. You get 1 point for every $2 put in the slot machine. I actually rolled $180,000 thru the slot machines as you get 1 point for every $2 you put in. Obviously you don't lose on every spin. I hit some jackpots and did decent on the blackjack table. Like if we spent a bunch on 1 cruise does that carry over to the next cruise? Or is it tracked for just the cruise you are on? I know on our last cruise, I got an offer much better than my husband did. I just happened to win a bit on the 1st day & used that to gamble on. So hubby spent more of his own $ than I did. I don't play the tables (yet) and only play the slots when my wife is napping (about an hour a day). I only play for recreation and as such I don't bet big. I have received casino offers from HAL, Carnival, and Princess. Prior to receiving the offer from Princess I had only cruised with them once for 3 days. At times I lose, sometimes I win, but I always come out ahead due to the discounted rates. A word to the wise, publishing the discounted rates is probably the best way to get kicked off the list. That is pretty much the norm on both ship and land based properties. The easiest way to explain this is if you get $10 in free play and a spin costs a dollar you would not get any points on your first 10 spins, If you hit a few line pays and win $20 from that $10 you will receive points on that $20. Points do not roll over to your next cruise. Some pax save their points til the end of the cruise. Some use their points for free play as they go along. Whatever works best for you is fine. It is important to remember that the Come Back and Sail offer you receive is given to you the morning before disembarkation day so any points you accumulate on the day before disembarkation will not count toward your offer.
