Jenna1983 Posted March 14, 2023 #1 Share Posted March 14, 2023 We will be on the second Brilliance sailing out of Vancouver end of April. What do they typically keep temps on the ship at in Alaska? Or has anyone been on an early Alaska season sailing who can comment on ship temps? Normally this isn’t a concern on any cruise I’ve ever been on but I have multiple people asking if they’ll be too hot in sweaters onboard. I saw coastal temps in Alaska will be 40-55 that time of year so I imagine they’ll be wearing sweaters off the ship.

Magicat Posted March 14, 2023 #3 Share Posted March 14, 2023 On 4 Alaska cruises, one in June and 3 in Aug/Sep time frame, we found the ship to be abnormally warm. Frequently had to go outside to cool down, which on a Radiance class ship it is easy to do.
crzndeb Posted March 14, 2023 #4 Share Posted March 14, 2023 I have been on the Ovation 3 times to Alaska and found it warm inside. Wore short sleeves and sandals. B2B in Oct. and once once in May.
Kathscof Posted March 14, 2023 #5 Share Posted March 14, 2023 I wore dresses with no stockings or leg coverings in May last year on the fancier nights....I didn't need a jacket unless we walked outside....
