Is there a way to see excursions before booking a cruise?

I'm interested in doing a December 2023 cruise but I'd like to be able to do one with a scuba course available, where you do the poolwork in the ship's pool and the required open water dives at the ports. I know Royal Caribbean offers this on many of their cruises and they're the only cruise line that does. It's a fantastic way to get scuba certified for those of us who live inland. Is there a way to see in advance if this excursion will be offered, before I book a cruise?

TAs usually have access to the excursions, if available - they may not be that far in the future. You could also ask in the roll call thread for that sailing.

I "think" that you might might a scuba course offered on one of the Oasis class ships in the aqua theatre pool.  We sailed the Oasis in Mar, 2022 and I think I saw that being offered but can't be sure. I tried to look at my upcoming cruise but it doesn't show that kind of info yet. A TA might be able to be of assistance.

Im on Oasis in June 2023, they just posted it to get certified in Feburary.  It was $405pp.

My wife and I got certified a couple years ago. We did a transpacific cruise last year and there wasn't a single scuba excursion offered. We had to go 3rd party.

I asked while on board and was told they can only offer scuba excursions if a master diver is on board which likely will only be on larger, caribbean orientated ships. Buy not a guarantee.

We have a back to back to back out of Ft Lauderdale this December. There are scuba excursions but no courses offered. It's either excursions for fully certified divers or intro to scuba.

Travel agents can see exactly what a booked guest can see as far as shore excursions on most ships without having to have a guest booked on the ship

I'd like to redirect the original question, "Is there a way to see excursions before booking a cruise" as a general question here [not just about SCUBA]. There was a link where one could peruse excursions on any particular cruise BEFORE one booked, but that link appears to be dead now.  The only info we can find now is the general hyping of excursions [non specific] on the Royal site.  That old link was a great resource.  Does anyone know if perhaps Royal has a similar link where you put in the ship and date of cruise and one saw a listing of all excursions that would be available if one booked it?  Probably gone for good, but it was a great resource. Thanks in advance.

This thread shows a hack with which you can see the planner for any sailing - that should include excursions - you just need to know which ship goes there.

Biker, who no longer can use the resurrection meme.

I cannot get this to work on my IPad…maybe someone can offer advice as to how I can get it to work.  I also can’t use the link to the spreadsheet on the iPad..😢

You may have some web site blockage on that device - see if you can open any Google Sheets spreadsheet. Otherwise, you'll need to use some other device.

Try using a computer as opposed to the ipad. There are some things that just aren't compatable

I accidentally answered this question on the old thread that was linked above. Oops. Here’s what I posted:

Thanks for this manual trick! It worked for me on my iPad. I just had to paste the above URL into a notepad note  and manually edit in the orange info before copying & pasting the revised URL into my browser.

Question: Is there any way to download a ShorEx pdf version for a particular sailing? I find pdf format much easier when cruise-planning with less techie family.

When I do that it takes me to the sign in page and I can’t go further without signing in. I’ll try on my MacBook later.   Thanks
