Rare StartrainDD Posted March 31, 2023 #1 Share Posted March 31, 2023 My 8000 word log/review of our recent Constellation cruise has been published. Here is the link: Celebrity Constellation Review by StartrainDD. We had a really nice experience on this cruise once past a challenging embarkation day.

Rare mahdnc Posted March 31, 2023 #3 Share Posted March 31, 2023 Wow, a very detailed review. Thanks for posting it. It wasn't clear to me what kind of Deck 6 cabin were you in. I am guessing that it was not a balcony cabin since you made no mention of a balcony (or I missed it in your 8,000+ word essay).. It's a shame about the high winds that you encountered during your stop at St. Thomas. The pier at Crown Bay is a bit inconveniently located. It could be worse, the last time we sailed to St Thomas (Jan 2014) Eclipse was the odd man out on a 6 cruise ship day and had to anchor at Charlotte Amalie, I couldn't imagine doing that and tendering with the high winds you encountered. You did a good job of money management/discipline at the casino.

Believe it's the only one like that on the ship. Regretfully the extra space is just a lot of empty space, but at least we had plenty of room for dressing and moving around. We had fun in the casino. I set a 95% return as a goal and on the rare occasion we do better than that it's very enjoyable.
cinderellen Posted April 1, 2023 #5 Share Posted April 1, 2023 Great review! We love the Constellation. Brent Nixon is amazing. He was on our Alaska cruise on the Millennium.
Djptcp Posted April 1, 2023 #6 Share Posted April 1, 2023 Thanks so much for your review. DH and I will be sailing on the Constellation in Dec. '23, March '24 and Dec. '24. We have sailed on about 70 cruises, mostly on Holland America and Carnival, but needed a change. We live less than an hour from the Port of Tampa and Celebrity seemed to fit our bill. Looking forward to new cruising experiences.

cheeseheads4ever Posted April 1, 2023 #8 Share Posted April 1, 2023 (edited) Wow what a fabulous detailed review. Loved it but just one quick question. How do you possibly remember so much detail? But great job. Felt like I was onboard with you. Edited April 1, 2023 by cheeseheads4ever

I've done "Live froms" but we did not have any internet (other than our Elite minutes) on this trip. I really try to remember the names of crew that are extra special, and did fill out comment cards on board and on the post-cruise survey!

GenericBob Posted April 3, 2023 #13 Share Posted April 3, 2023 Hi! Did you bring your own Catan, or does the Constellation have it available for borrowing?
