Have booked a Celebrity cruise to Alaska in August. I also paid for a Premium drinks package. On their website they state if 2 people order the package in the same stateroom they will receive the premium plus package. Has anybody heard or obtained the Plus package. My Travel agent had no luck talking to Celebrity about it.

I think there may be some confusion between Celebrity and NCL? NCL has a premium plus package for purchase called Free at Sea Plus. SAILAWAY is the current coupon code for $50 off a booking through Celebrity's website.

Celebrity  use to have a Plus package.   It is no longer offered.   I think it caused too much confusion and work for the cabin attendants.   We had it 4 times and each time we had to inform the attendant that we had it.  None of them knew what was supposed to be in it.   We showed them the description and even had to get Guest Relations involved.  Doing all of that it was still hit or miss on what we got everyday in our cabin.

The advantage for us was the Casino credit and the wine tasting.   Depending on how many days the cruise was the casino credit was more than the cost of the package.

The wine tasting event was never the same.  One time it was the Around the World wine event and another it was Wine and Food Pairing.  The other 2 were the same that is included for the Captains Club.

Planning my first Celebrity on the Apex next year.  Curious about the casino.  Does BJ pay 3/2.  I will be surprised if they do, but thought  I would ask.    Might I expect a poker game and in so, what kind of rake do they take? Someone noted on the board that the slots were really paying on a particular Celebrity.  This will be another thing that might have a surprising answer.  I would perceive them to be fairly tight.

thank You

X does have 3:2 but like most casinos that offer 3:2, they also have several 6:5 tables at a much lower minimum.  I've never seen 3:2 less than $25 and have occasionally seen $50...Usually the 6:5 is $5 or $10.

With slots, aren't they the "tightest" on cruise ships since they're not really regulated?  I recently had $200 slot credit on Carnival, couldn't convert it to the tables, played the $200 at the max $4/spin, after I blew through the $200 I walked away with $37 in winnings...Dollar for dollar, slots do accumulate tier points faster than tables but I don't understand the attraction to them
