Is Jazz on 4 gone from Harmony of the Seas?

I've been hearing about a new casino area on Harmony that has taken over the Jazz on 4 space. Does that mean that Jazz on 4 is gone, or is it re-located? If it is simply gone, that seems like a huge loss to me as that seemed like a perfect little venue to enjoy live music. Please weigh in......

Us too but as we are staying on deck 8 in a couple weeks, I’m looking forward to relaxing evenings in Central Park!

On Oasis last month they had awesome entertainment every night in Central Park.  So relaxing to be out there.  Dinner in Giovannis was great outside as well with the music playing.

@Tatka  "Jazz" on RCL ships is NOT Straight No Chaser, Hard Bop, or BeBop or even Cool.  Many groups have female singers, so think Nina Simon or Carmen McRae doing old standards without these great women's inflection. Or Herbie Hancock's "New Standards" (Happy Birthday Herbie!!).

Can listen from the outside area of Chops also, but they always had music there . Normally very mellow stuff.

I attended Jazz on 4 many times on Oasis cruises and pretty much liked every group. It is a bit funny that several groups were from my former country (but hey they were amazingly talented).

I was just trying to determine if poocher likes this change or not.

I guess hint should be "I'm looking" rather than "I was looking".

Gone as a venue.  Jazz music will move to other, non-venue locations.

I was on the first no-Jazz-on-4 sailing on Harmony of the Seas last month. I was very disappointed not to have that venue as I had been really looking forward to it.

They did offer jazz at least one evening up in Dazzles, but it was no comparison to the Jazz on 4 experiences I've had in the past as Dazzles had the music blaring at >90dB (according to my Apple Watch) which is far too loud for me for a quiet, relaxing evening; it had been a very reasonable volume in Jazz on 4, though.

Maybe because Jazz-on-4 was created for Jazz and has fabrics on the wall?

I wish they would add contemporary jazz to the old jazz standards. There is a lot of good new stuff but the only semi-recent song they will play is "Smooth Operator" (1984). Even so, I spent a lot of evenings in the Jazz Lounge. I will miss it.

When we were on Allure in January the cruise director said all Oasis Jazz on 4 were scheduled to be converted to a smokeless casino by April. I guess they have.  No way can they duplicate that club atmosphere outside when the weather is bad. Acoustics and atmosphere will not come close. And I bet that within a year the jazz groups will be gone too. Anyone want to take me up on that one?  The CD said there is still a jazz club on Icon. For now. I'm sure that casino will make them more money-no question about that. Another move to standardize all the customers and decrease offerings.
