Zuiderdam in Port Everglades on May 12, 2023

And she’s back home!  Zuiderdam has arrived back in Port Everglades from her world cruise. 

ms Zuiderdam will be at pier 26 from 4:30 am to 4:00 pm, and is on a 16 Night Atlantic Sunsets And Exotic Isles.  She is the only cruise ship in port today.

It will be good to have Zuidy back, though she is leaving the southern US - and not to Alaska [back to Europe].

 

She and Volendam [Juneau] are scheduled for the same time - 4 pm/1 pm AST.

 

Volendam should arrive earlier and Zuidy may be late - extra inspections and all that luggage. Hopefully, both won't be moving on screen at the same time.

Port Everglades vessel traffic control has the Zuiderdam scheduled for 5:00 pm Eastern. I'm wondering if that's going to happen because I imagine there's a lot to do after a World Cruise.

Yes, I believe it is.  Sadly.

Last for HAL.  Other lines are still sailing.

 

Maybe not for long.  3 ships Saturday but they all appear to be repositionings.

As it is a TA also, not many ports to supplement any missing items that didn't make it on or fell short.

 

I thought the original leaving time of 4 pm was optimistic, now it appears that the confirmed time of 5 pm - was also very optimistic.
