I'm leaving tomorrow and I'm going to try to report live if it works. I'm sailing with my daughter but we have our own cabins.  That's a first for me.  We did this cruise in July but unfortunately my husband passed away unexpectedly the week before we left so that cruise is kind of a blur. If anyone has any questions let me know.

Taxi picked us up at 9:15 We arrived at the terminal at 9:32. Exactly 17 minutes from my front door to the ship. There was no traffic. We had to wait until 10 to go through security and check in but that only too a few minutes. The coast guard was doing an inspection so boarding was delayed a few minutes. We were onboard by 1130. Lunch is at summer palace. The Philly cheese steak was excellent. Service has been great  the staff seem very friendly   This is going to be a fun trip

Last night we went to trivia then dinner at Indigo. The shrimp cake appetizer was excellent as was the lava cake. My beef medallions were tasty but a little chewy and my daughters shrimp scampi was excellent  overall a very good meal then we went to bed

I had breakfast in the main dining room. Service and food were great. We had a very nice cruise critic meet and greet which was well attended. Now I’m sitting by the pool freezing my butt off. I can’t believe how cold it is. I hope it warms up for tomorrow. Tonight is the show and dinner at Cagneys.

If there is a restaurant server named Cherry who works at the Summer Palace, be sure and ask to sit in her section. She was such a great server, we specifically ate in her section for every breakfast, and we weren't the only ones asking to sit in her section. She also worked dinner at Le Bistro. This was in September, so not sure if she's still working on the Pearl.

We made it to Bermuda and it’s pouring out. The weather has been horrible this whole trip. Last night we went to the show Pure Variety. We saw it last year and didn’t really like it. We still didn’t like it but everyone else seemed to love it. Maybe it’s us.

Another thing I want to add is we had a very underwhelming experience at Cagneys last night. We were using our platinum certificates and were told that now we only get one appetizer OR soup OR salad and only one side. Not only that but only one of us could get the surf and turf for the 25$ upcharge. If we both wanted it we would be charge the 55$ price for the second one. Another passenger discussed this with the maitre de and they changed course and charge me 60$ for the two surf and turfs. The lobster was great the filet was only ok. The sides were cold but the lobster bisque was amazing. The OMG cheesecake was only ok and the raspberry crème brûlée was excellent. Also the crab cake was good but the shrimp cake in the main dining room was just as good

Cagney's has been getting bad reviews for awhile as they continue to cut.  We avoid it.

I’ve been having a hard time getting cruise critic to load. Yesterday the sun came out after we decided not to go to the beach so we spent a nice afternoon by the pool. Dinner last night was at lotus garden and everything was excellent. After dinner my daughter went to bed and I hung out at the atrium bar enjoying seaside duo. It was a very fun night

Today the weather was still saying rain all day. I did the restless native catamaran in sunny skies and warm temperatures. It was a blast  I’m having lunch right now in osheehans it is consistently the best food on the ship and the service is wonderful. Tonight dinner is in moderno  we will see how that goes

I’m sitting in osheehans having a nice quiet breakfast with excellent service. Last night we saw the show Throw back to 1969. Both my daughter an I really enjoyed it. Dinner at moderno was excellent but we over did it at the salad bar. I thought all the meats were very good. We had no room for desert
