abrown84 Posted May 26, 2023 #1 Share Posted May 26, 2023 Hello! I just received noticed that my RoyalUp bid was accepted and I'll be sailing in a Grand Suite for my upcoming Adventure of the Seas cruise! One of my favorite things to do on the ships is to eat room service breakfast on my balcony in the morning. This is the first time I have sailed in a grand suite or higher so I'm curious if I'll have expanded options over the typical complimentary continental breakfast option. Can anyone provide some insight? Do I have the option to request a delivery the night before similar to the continental tags available in all state rooms? Thank you for any information!!!

cruisegus Posted May 26, 2023 #4 Share Posted May 26, 2023 You will have only the Room Service options listed on the hang tag, but you will NOT have to pay the room service fee for those items that would normally incur that fee, like an omelet. BTW during dinner hours you can order off that nights dinner menu and have delivered to your cabin for no charge.

If they order breakfast off the hang tag the night before, they will only be able to choose what is listed. If they call in their room service order during the open times of the MDR, they can order off the MDR menu.
Rare TexasRon Posted May 26, 2023 #6 Share Posted May 26, 2023 (edited) On our cruise on Independence recently, we were in a suite. We called room service and had items off the menu on the app for breakfast. We are two of our four breakfasts on our balcony; the other two, we had breakfast at Chops. No extra charges for room service unless you want a drink. Since we were on deck 10 near the stairs, I just ran up to the bar on the Foodjammer and got Bloody Mary’s using the drink plan. You cannot use they for room service. Also worked to get the discount on our daily bottle of champagne for our hot tub “Happy Hour”…you have to work the system a bit and get it from a bar. The Concierge helped make that happen after the first time. Edited May 26, 2023 by TexasRon
Ashland Posted May 27, 2023 #7 Share Posted May 27, 2023 Ordering breakfast from the MDR menu is a favorite of ours when staying in GS's and above. Also we order dessert at night before the MDR closes.
