Hello

We have booked a cruise on Azamara Onward next year departing from Bordeaux. I see that the |Pursuit was there on Friday last and the Journey will be berthed there this coming Friday. Could someone please let me know which cruise terminal Azamara boats berth at in Bordeaux. It would be most helpful for planning ahead with a hotel booking etc if we knew which terminal they use. Thanks in advance.

Under normal circumstances I would say to call Azamara directly.  But now maybe that is not a good idea.  However in general your best way to get info on  a specific cruise is to call them or use their chat line.

Same with us. Last September, Pursuit docked  in the centre of town and we stayed at the hotel Radisson Blu post cruise. Very easy to reach by tramway. The tram stop was just outside the port gates. It couldn't have been easier.

That’s excellent, I believe there is now a tram that runs from the airport to the city centre which would be very convenient for us. Thank you so much for the information.

This a pic of the Pursuit from this past Saturday. Literally the ship is across the street from the downtown and prime area, and was docked overnight. It was perfect and allowed for multiple trips on and off the ship for exploring, eating, and drinking.

If you are there on a warm evening, it is lovely how the local young ones come down with their blankets and picnics and socialise on the grass by the ship.  And bless them, little noise and they just disappear as fast as they came and you never hear them - and we were port side on a Friday summer night!!.

Next day early morning breakfast in Bordeaux watching the bicycle commuters

It is also so easy to walk out at night - we are not always after dinner walkers off ship but Bordeaux was the exception, it was so safe and friendly

You can see how close we were parked
