wcflats Posted July 1, 2023 #1 Share Posted July 1, 2023 Does anyone know what the price to do this is if you’re not a suite guest? We have done this once as a guest of one of the officers but just curious if there’s been a price yet. I know it’s an offer if you’re a suite guest but can’t find anything for a cost if you’re not or wether it would even be offered.

I'm almost certain the price will be over $120 when it's open to everyone.
Guindalf Posted July 3, 2023 #5 Share Posted July 3, 2023 We have a booking for our Alaska cruise (suite guests) There is absolutely NO option to purchase and NO price for the future. Anyone who is 'almost certain' is just pulling a number out of thin air and has no basis in reality.
Steelers36 Posted July 3, 2023 #6 Share Posted July 3, 2023 I think all she was suggesting is that the experience is likely to cost more than the Chef Table Lumiere which makes sense to me. Beyond that, I don't imagine any regular guest would know what the price point could be.

On multiple occasions, Johannes (the 360 Mgr. on the Enchanted) told us that when they start charging, it would be $150pp....so I would expect it to be in that general ball park.
cruzsnooze Posted July 3, 2023 #8 Share Posted July 3, 2023 It was an interesting experience ONCE. I enjoyed it although I don't eat much of what was served. I personally wouldn't pay for it. It is impossible to know when and if it will become a paid venue and at what cost.
memoak Posted July 3, 2023 #9 Share Posted July 3, 2023 It is free by invitation. You cannot pay to join. If not in a suite it helps to have tons of days with Princess or be a casino guest. There are 2 sittings per night so 40 people total. The food was wonderful and a great show but if you eat everything out before you they will have to roll you out. I really doubt it will move to any Grand class ships because the would have to cut the size of Sabatini’s quite a bit or build the venue somewhere else on the ship

That sounds about right. I'm thinking they'll start charging this fall sometime or maybe just before the Christmas/New Year holiday season. WAvoyager Posted July 4, 2023 #11 Share Posted July 4, 2023 We’ve been hoping it would change to a paid offering by the next time we sailed in August. The rumor was that they were doing it as an invitation only event while they ramped up and worked out any issues. Seemed consistent with the exposure on social media, to get people talking about it before they offered it. Sadly, no word on it being offered as a premium dining experience yet. We’re not in a suite this sailing. Really wanted my mom to get a chance to go. We absolutely loved it last sailing. My daughter (6) loved the overall experience, and the special drinks they made her. Every new drink was promptly called better than the last, and several dishes were her favorite. My wife and I really enjoyed the food, and the wonderful service - and the immersive video and interactive projection system were just icing on the cake. $150 sounds about right - actually, I’d say it’s worth more, but I know that may be a hard sell for Princess. I’d happily pay that much to go again.
FritzG Posted July 4, 2023 #12 Share Posted July 4, 2023 At first we laughed at the idea of $150 for the experience. About 15 minutes into it we both agreed that it was well worth the price.

By far, the best meal and experience on the ship. We had a seating with the no phone rule, and every single person was present, a delightful experience. I am beyond thrilled that they got to experience this and would, like other posters, pay $150-200 for the experience.
triple7tahoe Posted July 4, 2023 #15 Share Posted July 4, 2023 We were fortunate enough to be invited twice, once in the Fall and again in May aboard Discovery. We were hoping to get invited for our upcoming (at the time) B2B cruises on the Enchanted. One phone call came a week before the cruise and the second came on the way to the airport. We were meeting a long time cruising friend who was taking his first cruise since losing his partner of 40 years and hoped to get him invited as well; Sucess was ours as Johanas invited him to our first sitting. Wonderful experience and we were looking forward to second invite. Unfortunately, second experience was cancelled due to equipment malfunction. We learned that the entire system cost over 15/16 million $$$ to install and circuit board (culprit of malfunction) cost over $50K. We did not get reinvited to second 360 experience but got phone call yesterday with invite for upcoming Discovery cruise--I accepted before the person calling could ask. I recognized the Santa Clarita phone number 🙂
e71465 Posted July 5, 2023 #16 Share Posted July 5, 2023 We were on the Discovery in January. We wanted to go to 360 dining. As soon as we boarded I went and asked an officer how to get invited to 360. He told me to go and ask to be invited at Sabatini's. I asked and was told they were full but the next day, our phone rang with an invitation. We are elite and we had a standard mid-ship balcony. It was bar far the best experience I've had at sea. It was AMAZING!
teachtocruis Posted July 6, 2023 #17 Share Posted July 6, 2023 We were invited in November. We are elite, but were in an inside cabin. So as for invites, it sounds like it's kinda random. It was an AMAZING experience. I was hesitant as unknown things of this kind make me nervous. My husband kept telling me it would be fine. So off we went. We are not drinkers and had some dietary restrictions. We told them this when they found on the ship and invited us. They assured us they could accommodate us, and they did! It was a fabulous experience! I would jump at a second invite. Just need to get back on the Discovery.
Rare Paula_MacFan Posted July 6, 2023 #18 Share Posted July 6, 2023 How long does the experience last? We bid on a suite for an upcoming cruise so I'm just learning about this feature. Thanks!
