indiana123 Posted August 13, 2023 #1 Share Posted August 13, 2023 (edited) I have been looking to see how to arrange to purchase flowers for our cabin. I have looked at Celebration Packages but no mention of flowers. Has anyone done this on Norwegian? Any ideas? Thanks Edited August 13, 2023 by indiana123

However, there are no listings available in my searches. Perhaps NCL ended them as part of their Sail and Sustain measures.

Make sure to read thru prohibited items list on NCL website. If you bring them onboard, ask if you can walk the thru the X-ray instead of placing them on the conveyor belt. I see folks bring flowers on in Seattle all the time
Rare www3traveler Posted August 13, 2023 #4 Share Posted August 13, 2023 Along time ago, you could purchase flowers at the Restaurant Reseverations Desk in the lobby. I havve done it a number of times but not recently.
Pitzel Posted August 13, 2023 #5 Share Posted August 13, 2023 I think they may have reduced or eliminated flowers onboard due to supply chain issues as well as sustainability issues. Pre-covid, suites used to come with a flower arrangement in the cabin. I believe that has been discontinued. Also, due to agricultural restrictions, you can't bring flowers back into the US, even if that is where they originated. Which means that you can't leave the ship and take the flower arrangement home with you. So, if you purchase flowers near your embarkation port, expect that you will need to leave those behind.
Rare All-ready2cruise Posted August 13, 2023 #6 Share Posted August 13, 2023 I checked the "Gifts and more" on both my upcoming cruises and could find zero flowers listed. What @Pitzel has advised is correct. I did see lots of food and wine available though.
Girr Posted August 13, 2023 #7 Share Posted August 13, 2023 In the suites the fresh flowers have been deleted, and a live plant substituted. So I'll second it looks like the flower option is gone.

jandnmn Posted August 13, 2023 #9 Share Posted August 13, 2023 I was wondering if it is ok to buy flowers in Seattle at the market and bring them onboard? Have you seen this done recently? Thank you.

Rare BirdTravels Posted August 14, 2023 #11 Share Posted August 14, 2023 We ordered flowers for our May cruise. But there is no option for our cruise that departs a few weeks from now.

Rare cruiseny4life Posted August 16, 2023 #13 Share Posted August 16, 2023 No flower option here either. I could book a vow renewal to receive "one single red rose." I suppose it was love at first sight in our case, but wouldn't a renewal be love at many sights? So give me loads of roses, please!
