Rare ontheweb Posted September 1, 2023 #1 Share Posted September 1, 2023 We were on the NCL Prima earlier this month, and there was a lifeguard stationed at their main pool. This was new to us, and I did post in the NCL forum asking if this was unique to this ship. Someone posted the following link: Norwegian Cruise Line To Add Lifeguards To Fleet (ncl.com) I wondered if any other line was doing the same. And, LOL, the first rule posted by the pool was still no lifeguard. And remember, the Prima sailed first last year, well after the link says that NCL started this new policy re: lifeguards. CruiserBruce Posted September 1, 2023 #3 Share Posted September 1, 2023 As I recall, there was a lawsuit about a drowning...not sure what cruise line. That might be the cause.
