Second Brisbane terminal??

Maybe we could all chip in and buy a 10 seater and a permanent parking spot at BICT. It is likely though, after doing a cost/benefit analysis that it will be an option that is too expensive to bother with. I suspect that is the same rule of thumb that the QLD government has already considered for public transport.

The issues for Brisbane Cruise Terminal will happen when the Port is closed due to rough conditions. This happened a couple times during Covid.
This is certainly not the place to hold 3000 plus passengers.
Imagine Quantum can’t dock Friday until midday Saturday. Pacific Encounter is due in 0600 Saturday. Carnival Luminosa has a Sunday turnaround 0600 - 1600.

Shuttle.

Is there still a passenger shuttle to DFO ?

Once when we were in transit they had one, next time through they didn't have one.

Do you mean from the cruise terminal or from the airport?

There is a courtesy  bus at domestic and international airports that also stop at DFO on a loop.

As for transfers from the cruise port to the actual airport this seems hit and miss depending on the cruiseline.

I don't believe there is a shuttle to DFO. A taxi would probably be your only option.🙂

Unfortunately there's no official public transport options between the port and the airport. Sometimes I have seen the ships offer paid transfers to the airport, other times its listed as an excursion.

Then there's the other options like private transfers and taxis as mentioned by ithers above.

However if you're  flying out later that day you could take a shuttle to the airport - check your bags in or put them in a locker.

Hop on the free bus that loops both domestic and international and then on to DFO
