For the two of us in a Penthouse Suite (similar in size to a Celebrity Suite) the total was about $9,200, or about $328 per person per day. That price is still available through the end of the month. Can't justify the price increase or the "party" atmosphere. I go on cruises to relax from a high energy, high stress job so M & S class is a better fit for DH and me. But thanks for the suggestion. Looking forward to trying a new cruise line and ship. mac_tlc

All the profit is there especially with ALL the people who have never cruised anywhere. Big ships=Big ports Other lines with smaller ships can do the more interesting itineraries. Edge ships arent that big. only 3k pax. I can't think of a port an Edge ship can't go that ncl's smallest ship (2k pax) can.

Also, my Capital One came up with a 2 per cent extra discount for all new cruises; not a lot, but every little bit counts when you send it to your TA. get a costco visa. it gives 3% for all travel. you need a costco membership first, so if there's not costco near you... move. Costco is worth it 😛 Edited November 8, 2023 by fstuff1

(yoga classes are free for them.) On the Beyond, i think the yoga class room could only hold 12 people. 😮 You had to get there 10+ min early to get a spot. Then a pretty young instructor joined mid-cruise. and now more guys all of a sudden wanted to do yoga. hm... But that also meant getting to the class 20+ min earlier near the end of the cruise. Rare Cruise till you drop Posted November 8, 2023 #107 Share Posted November 8, 2023 (edited) Just booked an SV for Jan 2026 on XCel that goes to St Thomas and St Maarten. We’ve never sailed on a brand new ship and my DW loves St Thomas Also SV’s usually get scooped up very quickly so why not (looks like about half of them are booked already) Edited November 8, 2023 by Cruise till you drop

Any mass market cruise line such as X or NCL is less itinerary based than small ships. Many people are very happy seeing Cozumel more than once.

Costco is worth it 😛 I agree. IWe use ours for almost everything. Expecrting a very nice rebate in my future. Just put the entire final payment for our Feb 24 MSC Divina cruise on it and will be putting the final payment on our Millennium May 24 cruise on it in January.
