Some family members are catching their flight the day after disembarking the Royal Princess in Jul.  Who offers the best overall full day tour back from Whittier to Anchorage?

I don’t know about best but Salmon Berry Tours, as Northern Aurora mentioned, gets good reviews. Depending on your group size it might be cheaper to rent a car in Whittier for the day. You can do everything the tour does but you just wouldn’t have the narration.

We have used Salmon Berry Tours numerous times.  The first time was a cruise transfer to Anchorage. There was only one other couple taking the tour that day—it was great!  We got picked up right at the pier and dropped off at our hotel.  The driver personalized the experience for us.  Very enjoyable.

 

Since that first trip, we’ve been on a few tours with them.  It’s easier for us to just take a tour with them instead of renting a car on a short, one day visit.
