Check In Time

We are sailing for the first time with Celebrity on the Edge to Alaska in June.  My question is about check in time.  My reservation says that check in will be available on April 23, but what time does it open up?  Is it at midnight, 9am, or what?  Also, whatever time it does open up, I'm guessing that would be EST since that is where Celebrity is based?  I'm just curious, because I would like to get the earliest embarkation time that I can.  Thanks in advance.

EST.  I am on GMT and I checked in at 5.30am GMT on the first day check in was available.

12:01am, as others have said. But I am not sure that it is based on EST for every cruise. For Alaska last summer I think I checked in 5-6:00am EST which was 1-2:00 Alaska time. And for an Eastern Med trip I think we checked in according to Athens local time zone. So you can try at 12:01am EST, but don't be surprised if you need to wait until 12:01 Vancouver/Seattle time.

If you look at your app you can see current ship's time.

We always check in about 6am Pacific time.  We've always gotten the earliest time available.

We boarded early on our Alaksa trip.   It was chaos.   Your would have thought people had not eaten in days. Manners out the window.   It was very busy in the Oceanview.  We decided to eat elsewhere and enjoyed a relaxing lunch.

Ours opened at midnight Seattle/Vancouver time - be aware that sometimes it is good to select an 11:30 time to allow the crush of people wanting to be on board at 10:30 to clear.  And depending on which port the experience can be quick or confusing.

When check in opens on the App is it possible to just select the time and enter all the other details later?
