Rare SteelCityCruiser10 Posted January 26 Author #402 Share Posted January 26 Packing has begun and it’s so sad 😭 I do prefer a whole few day as a last day but I will definitely not complain about going to St Maarten.

Rare SteelCityCruiser10 Posted January 26 Author #404 Share Posted January 26 (edited) Picked up the one picture we had taken in Izumi for our free picture. Typically if we don’t want it or didn’t have any taken I’ll go down and buy someone who really wants theirs for them. Recently our pics have been decent. They printed it on the Giovanni’s themed frame instead of Izumi though 🤔🤔 Edited January 26 by SteelCityCruiser10
Rare SteelCityCruiser10 Posted January 26 Author #405 Share Posted January 26 We really have no plan for dinner. Edna said we can’t use a D+ BOGO for Giovanni’s tonight - only day 1 or 2. We liked our first meal there but not $90 like it. Probably just hit the lounge for free drinks, then WJ and/or room service. The MDR menu didn’t have anything we were interested in. As you probable can tell by now if you’ve been following the whole time we aren’t foodies and are not picky at all. Don’t get me wrong, we know when it last bad 😆 But we are content with decent pretty pedestrian food.
Blaise Posted January 26 #406 Share Posted January 26 1 hour ago, SteelCityCruiser10 said: Next was Dutch Blonde Bar. Its upstairs and has a tremendous view. Had a great time here. We had the Dutch Blonde Ale. I think these were my favorite beers the whole trip. We split the Mahi Mahi sandwich with sweet potato fries and salad. $22 i think it was. Sorry I almost forgot to take the pic of the food and it’s not a great pic. Thanks for this update. Very encouraging. This is where I wanted to hang in the afternoon. Maybe even get some chairs out front. Hoping the beer is available out there as well.

Rare SteelCityCruiser10 Posted January 27 Author #410 Share Posted January 27 Stopped in the casino and to use the $6 promo. Uhh yeah that was 3 hands of video blackjack. Took me longer to reset my pin and transfer than it did to lose it. On the other hand there was someone who won $80K on a slot machine in this cruise.
Rare SteelCityCruiser10 Posted January 27 Author #411 Share Posted January 27 Flags parade tonight. Side note - that is Jarvis in vintages in the left side of the pic. Pro tip- he’s the best bartender in the ship. 2
Rare SteelCityCruiser10 Posted January 27 Author #412 Share Posted January 27 We have 8:15 departure. One of the best perks of suites is the priority escort off the ship. We’ll meet Edna at 8:15 and walk off, grab the bags and probably Uber to the airport. We have a flight to ATL at 12:45. If all goes well we will be in PIT at 7:15pm. Puppies will be picked up from puppy-cation by my dad and dropped at our house so that we don’t have to wait until next day to go pick them up.
Rare SteelCityCruiser10 Posted January 27 Author #413 Share Posted January 27 Centrum Ive spent very little time there this cruise. I think because in 2019 I spent a lot of time there I gravitated to somewhere different. Besides I can still hear what’s going on from Vintages 🍻 😉

Rare SteelCityCruiser10 Posted January 27 Author #415 Share Posted January 27 (edited) Random fact - I am a bit of a custom knife collector & this caught my eye on the ship. Edited January 27 by SteelCityCruiser10
Rare SteelCityCruiser10 Posted January 27 Author #416 Share Posted January 27 Probably a bad sign when you’re at the bar and need to set yourself an alarm on your phone in order to not forget to put your bags out for luggage pickup. Cheers friends 🍻 1

Rare SteelCityCruiser10 Posted January 27 Author #421 Share Posted January 27 Having a hard time letting go. Still in the casino using vouchers playing roulette. 😜 We did manage to get the luggage outside the cabin. 🫠

Some crazy yachts anchored around St Maarten, including some monsters anchored in Simpson Bay. I like to Google the yacht name + "yacht", you can learn all about them including the price to charter. Faith is a $200 million yacht that costs an estimated $20 million per year to operate. It is not available for charter. It does have its own Wikipedia page.
