Bulldoglady Posted February 11 #1 Share Posted February 11 Hi we are cruising Sydney to Singapore however my son now lives in Bali , which is the port before Singapore. Will Carnival allow us to leave the cruise in Bali to visit him or will we have to sail to Singapore and fly back to Bali. We have stayed in Singapore before and just thought this would be better and less expensive for us
stobe1 Posted February 11 #2 Share Posted February 11 (edited) You should call Carnival and find out. You can get a lot of bad/false/inconsistent info on here. You will have one person say yes. Another one say no. And another one who "heard" that someone's cousin's neighbor's grandma's best friend did it once back in 1985. vwrestler171 Posted February 11 #3 Share Posted February 11 Only Carnival will be able to give you the correct answer and they still might tell you that it is up to the officials in Bali.
Rare Essiesmom Posted February 11 #4 Share Posted February 11 And be aware when contemplating debarking in Benoa, and how much luggage you have, that Benoa is a tender port. EM
Rare 1025cruise Posted February 11 #5 Share Posted February 11 While only Carnival can give you the correct answer, it is my understanding that they no longer allow this.
Rare ontheweb Posted February 11 #6 Share Posted February 11 If you do get permission, make sure you have it in writing and present it at the ship. And if they do let you off early, do not expect to get anything off your cruise fare because you left early.

And there's always the risk of a missed port that could mess up the entire plan, even with Carnival's blessing...
Elaine5715 Posted February 11 #8 Share Posted February 11 There is likely to be a substantial fees if permitted.

However, no refund, etc. will be given.

And no refund is a given.
