Apex Recent Transatlantic Speaker/Enrichment Experience

I've finally convinced (well almost anyway) my husband to do a transatlantic cruise with me.  This one in March 2025 has a great itinerary and does not have any more than 3 consecutive sea days anytime during the 13 night cruise and he really likes each of the ports of call.  The cruise ends nin Barcelona so we plan to spend 5 days there after and he is on the fence of if we should just fly directly there instead, GRRR 🙂   He is a techie, science, history afficionado so would be interested in knowing what the various expert speaker topics were during the most recent TA and did they host them each sea day, multiple different speakers each day etc.  Not converned at all about the entertainment, as far as that go he is easy to please, he just wants to make sure there options beyond casino (we don't gamble) and neither of us are drinkers.  TIA

Have always had one or more enrichments speakers on our TA cruises.  It is not usually advertised before hand unless a specialty cruise (which have not seen).  Have them mostly sea day unless ahve an issue as we had but was after ship had sailed from a port and not during the day.  Sometimes the enrichment speaker will join the roll call and make the announcement.  What sailing is it?  Haven't seen one that has that few sea days consecutively.

We love sailing to Europe as we arrive relaxed and time adjusted - makes our days there so much more enjoyable.  For us we have been able to book a cabin which comes out very similar in price to flying over so a no brained for us.  Love visiting Barcelona as well.

Thank you!  March 8, 2025 and apologies, it’s 2 sea days to Bermuda then 4 sea days Azores, 3 sea days Valencia overnight to Barcelona.

Some of us like the Westbound TA's more than the Eastbound. For Me it's getting to Turn the Clock Back 6 or 7 times. 😉

Have done many TA and all have had Beyond the Podium speakers.    The norm is at least two and topics are varied.    We had one who had been a high ranking staffer at NASA and spoke of the space program.   He even did a  private presentation in Retreat.   Well attended.

Also had  one who had been  White House a Social Secretary of the White House Social Office.   Spoke of the various First Ladies and everything from the various parties and challenges.

Never been disappointed and many of them pack the theater daily.    Luckily they are also recorded so they can be watched in your stateroom if you missed one.
