Rare Solent Richard Posted February 26 #1 Share Posted February 26 My Cunard grapevine informs me that Queen Anne is now scheduled to arrive at Southampton on the morning of Saturday 27th April 2024. Hopefully there will be plenty of photo opportunity that day to welcome her on her Maiden Call to Southampton. 7

Winifred 22 Posted February 27 #5 Share Posted February 27 Annoying that Iona is in Ocean Terminal that day. But will be grand on 28th to see her with QM2 and QV

Rare ClipperinSFO Posted February 29 #7 Share Posted February 29 If it can't be the Ocean Terminal, at least it should be the QEII. I hope at least that the maiden TA sales from the Ocean Terminal.

exlondoner Posted February 29 #9 Share Posted February 29 Surely it would be nice for her to be somewhere in the Western Docks so passengers passing on trains can see and admire?
Poole Boy Posted February 29 #10 Share Posted February 29 May3rd Britannia - Ocean Regal Princess - QE2 Sirena - Horizon So 101/ City is possibly free for AQ , as it is on April 27th, in a nice position in the Western Docks 1

A berth often used to showcase new ships and those sailing on an 'out of the ordinary' cruise. I well remember Queen Mary 2 sailing from Berth 101 (City Terminal) on her 175th Anniversary Cruise.... ******
Lanky Lad Posted March 3 #12 Share Posted March 3 I am due in Southampton on the 27th and boarding QV on the 28th. I am staying outside the city so I will have to wait until Sunday to see her (if I can wait and don't make a special trip into the centre).
