Deluxe veranda or sunset veranda, Eclipse

We are cruising on the Eclipse. We have #7206 which is a deluxe veranda.  I’ve put in for an upgrade for a sunset veranda. Now I’m second guessing myself.  Personal opinions please would you prefer the deluxe or sunset? Why?

We love sunset veranda for the view.

The location is not convenient to elevators though

 

Not much different than the view, I wouldn’t pay much more honestly 

 

Not much benefit to concierge either, just an embarkation day lunch.

 

Now, aqua, is an upgrade!  You get a better restaurant 

 

And suites, even more

I’ll second that for the Sunset. There is just nothing like the relaxing view watching the wake.  Added bonus extra steps on your Fitbit!

Sunset veranda is one of our favorite locations for the view. That would be my choice.

For us, it’s a mobility issue. We would choose the V1 category right near the elevators on deck 8.

 

We enjoy the wake view but the walk is an issue. It’s also an hassle many times dodging the stateroom attendant carts and empty room service trays with a wheelchair. We try to avoid the “push-stop-get up-walk-stop-sit down- push” cycle as much as possible.
 

Only in Alaska and Norway do we an aft or sunset veranda.
