I indeed paid for the Haven perks, none of which included front of the line at any shows. I still stood in line and waited with the rest of steerage class, the horror. Be thankful that we can afford to travel at that level. No issues....they've offered to take us to be seated first when we're staying in the Haven. I have no problem taking advantage.

From the looks of those shoes, it would seem it will be difficult, make that impossible, to dance a Cajun rhythm like a Willys in 4 wheel drive. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 We especially enjoyed Keukenhof on our river cruise. And DW found a tulip named after the Dutch family that were her ancestors on her Mother's side.

Just stop reheating leftover for lunch at work 🤗 😆 LOL - how about this smart innovation, bedside for CPAP users, careful when using the slim outlet while turning on/off the main light switch within millimeters away. Plug a mini charger for the iPhone & if not careful, wake up with it remaining not charged, plug loosen & not connected securely to the power outlet - reason, with the light switch moved to off/on position. A- (minus) for effort. B- for outcome & usefulness. Today your thread is 'Hot'. Rare mking8288 Posted May 9 Author #856 Share Posted May 9 What a day in Amsterdam and we are safely onboard mothership Prima by 4 PM. Private tour was excellent, thank you, Bill & Nancy. OMG, I have only about 130 new photos to add or upload to share w CC'ers but going to early bird dinner shortly so we can come back up to our balcony to enjoy sailaway & watch the 3 hours scenic river transit to the lock again. First, this batch is all about the gangway, reminders & terminal facilities, etc. and, it has good & fast, free WiFi 👍

Particularly interested since we embark Prima Sunday as you depart. I hear we will be sailing FULL. I have always believed that when there are operational issues, they usually flow directly from the top but I don’t know if this is the case on a passenger vessel with so many hotel-like departments. From NCL? From the ship’s captain? Both? We are looking forward to dining in Hudson from a window whenever possible (We are Sapphire), and we have always been told to head to the desk and past the line. We’ll see how that works. I can understand the changed cookie policy but many other operational issues feel like inexperience on the part of staff. I’d be curious about your view on the overall cause of the issues you’ve experienced during this cruise. Enjoy your upcoming ports! While are TA was 18 months ago, when we went to Hudsons for lunch once, we did get right in and seated right by doors to kitchen. Being Sapphire or Haven might of got us in quickly but certainly not for location. And service very slow. A stripe guy came over after maybe 45 minutes to apologize but nothing got any better.

Ellis1138 Posted May 9 #860 Share Posted May 9 Oh! I forgot a question for my husband. For the Go Kart racing cars, the NCL page says "flat" shoes. I had only been planning on bringing Merrell hiking boots to the cruise. Would those count as flat? They have a very slight arch in the center of the foot, but are otherwise quite enclosed and not loose-fitting. Or should I bring like basketball-flat sneakers just for the kart racing? Those Merrell boots should be fine. I think they forbid sandals, "flip-flops" and the like. 1

Rare mking8288 Posted May 9 Author #866 Share Posted May 9 Finished dinner early, 4 hungry adults left plenty of food for others, held in the gallery ... including the 7 near-pier runners being paged around 7:40 PM. Apparently, they made it as it's just 7:05 and we are on the move already, heading straight out toward the lock. Tonight's MDR menu isn't seen or used often, Chinese themed options and tomorrow night, Thai themed as the niece placed her pre-order.
Rare mking8288 Posted May 9 Author #867 Share Posted May 9 Earlier this morning, we had a 1 hour early start leaving the pier vs NCL group tours didn't move up their time. Our driver knew we're early and contacted us via Nancy/ Bill's better half and we're ready to go by 10 AM. Plenty of parking - good walking exercise 😆 We used the side entrance & driver-guide took a short cut to avoid traffic heading to the flower show.
