yakcruiser Posted April 30 #27 Share Posted April 30 The lamb is very tasty, but you only get one single lonely chop.

Then they went to lamb medallions where the butchers literally cut away the lamb chop bone and meat and threw it into the trash. Now they have the chop/shank combo with a Moroccan spice which we don't like as much.
Rare lepidoptera Posted April 30 #29 Share Posted April 30 I love the sole, it is my go to in Le Bistro. Also highly recommend their Iles Flotant for dessert.

We get the best filet in LeBistro and the best Lamb chops in Cagney’s. Oh…I will add my favorite dessert in Le Bistro. The Ile Flontante. And in Cagney’s…the OMG Cheesecake. Thanks for the pics - DEFINITELY getting the steak tartare as a starter! 🙂 Had the lamb, it’s not very good.
RocketMan275 Posted April 30 #34 Share Posted April 30 The lobster thermador is well worth the upcharge. The Pear Helene is wonderful.
Rare jcathers1 Posted April 30 #35 Share Posted April 30 My wife and I both have the two meal FAS. Can we bring our two daughters to a restaurant and use all four meals in one sitting? Do we need to let the restaurant know in advance that we plan to do that (other than making a normal reservation)? Or, if we wanted to purchase additional specialty dining meals, is it cheaper to do that before the cruise or during?

Best bet is to buy the daughters 2 meal specialty dining packages if they are too old to eat off of the kids menu.

How many meals depends on the cruise length and cabin type. A balcony on a 7-night cruise will get 2 per passenger for passengers 1 and 2.
astera Posted May 8 #39 Share Posted May 8 Looking forward to checking out the French restaurant and will probably go for the lemon sole as a main, though I am tempted by the lamb option. I currently have friends aboard the Norwegian Dawn who have complained about the steak tartare as a starter - apparently they mix it all up with mayonnaise which is so, so, so wrong on so, so so many levels. Luckily they have scallops as a choice as well so we're not giving up on Le Bistro that easily. 🙂
