Happily@Sea Posted May 20 #2 Share Posted May 20 Leanne, Mondays are usually no problem - only last week [1st time in many years] has there been a ship before noon AST time. Both ships are outside Tracy Arm - Eurodam looking to maybe unload pax for excursions -- and Kdam still arriving. Looking at around 2 hours right now to Juneau - maybe. I see we have a full harbor - including one at anchor. 39F right now with rain.
Happily@Sea Posted May 20 #3 Share Posted May 20 Update: both ships still at Tracy Arm - another 2 hours maybe.

Linaeve Posted May 20 #5 Share Posted May 20 Am I seeing it right? It looks like Carnival ended up taking the CT berth. This is the second week in a row that the berth was taken from the Eurodam. What's the point in the schedule if they just keep changing it?
Rare ski ww Posted May 20 #6 Share Posted May 20 Eurodam approaching, about three miles out.
Rare ski ww Posted May 20 #7 Share Posted May 20 And here is the K'dam, about 5 miles out. The weather looks worse then when I first check this morning.

Happily@Sea Posted May 20 #9 Share Posted May 20 Not unusual to see the three ships lined up like that in the channel. Looks like typical Juneau weather to me.

Rare Denise T Posted May 20 #11 Share Posted May 20 Yeah, I was watching the Luminosa move to anchor after docking. If I remember right, she was in earlier than 7 am. 1

Here early enough and your first glut of guests can walk off the ship and return by tenders. It had been happening a little last year, near the end of the season. Otherwise, she'd be at anchor for about 5 hours with a vacant dock which does not make a lot of sense. A good move by the port. Roy
