Well boy 91 Posted May 22 #1 Share Posted May 22 (edited) Just received email that the carriers for this year are TUI,Norse Atlantic and Virgin Atlantic. Norse have a fleet of Dreamliners. So better than last years offering of Maleth. Virgin Atlantic will offer the chance of upgrading to upper class on their flights. Last time Virgin were used was a mixture of A330 and A350 planes Edited May 22 by Well boy 91 2
molecrochip Posted May 22 #2 Share Posted May 22 I’m glad that this has finally been announced. Norse are good, so Virgin Atlantic.

Premium and Upper Class cabins will receive additional drinks. - Direct aircraft to ship transfer. - Direct aircraft to ship luggage transfer.

Rare Presto2 Posted May 22 #6 Share Posted May 22 We are with TUI, but for those worrying about airlines after last year's issues this can only be good news with Virgin and this new company - who look really good, with great aircraft. 🙂
CCFC Posted May 22 #7 Share Posted May 22 (edited) Ooh Birmingham wasnt an option when I booked, wonder if they will let us change from London airport to Birmingham, that would save us a lot of hassle. We are going on a Saturday to Arvia, cant see the carrier for that? Edited May 22 by CCFC
1stFamilyCruise25 Posted May 22 #8 Share Posted May 22 Any ideas on costs to upgrade to premium and to upper?
PBest78 Posted May 22 #9 Share Posted May 22 When we enquired it was £500 per person to upgrade to Premium Economy. As there's 4 of use we decided it wasnt worth it.

They are clearly not honourable and have somewhat tarnished P&O's reputation by association. Not one person has received a payment and one vlogger is now pursuing them via other routes.

That's still going on is it? I kind of feel P and O themselves should be making sure the compensation gets sorted one way or another

CCFC Posted May 24 #23 Share Posted May 24 Asked if we could fly from Birmingham and got told no, then asked about upgrade to Premium for our Gatwick flight and they said there is no Premium seating. Feeling slightly deflated.

For Arvia, ir must be circa 12 full planes worth of passengers, a big ask no wonder 3 airlines
