Made my connecting flight, already emptied my bloody mary - yes i was just gonna use bm for bloody mary but then well.......i didnt think that would be prudent.....

Anyone remember Mad Libs? I think thats what they were called, just add in nouns, verbs and adjectives

Well, Im here finally. Called for the hotel shuttle and waited...and waited...after 50min I got an Uber and was at the hotel in less than 10min. And...my electric toothbrush is on the fritz, and how bout the ding in my suitcase.

One thing you should know about me...sh*t magnet! Nuff said🤪

I was on the Celebration TA as well and just off the Jubilee in April.  Love the Excel class and the little differences between each one but the same great experience.  Love the review so far.

Okay....wow, what looked like the line from Hades actually moved pretty quickly. Once on board i went to drop off stuff off in the room but it still was dirty so i decided not to leave my stuff.

Went and got a shawarma sammy- it was good. Just had one then went to do muster stuff, done. Decided on the sailors ice tea- just ok (not really my thing). I will be going to pig and anchor to get my smoky watermelon margarita later. Dinner in 30min will post after

I ordered the pork belly, caesar salad with extra anchovies, lamb chops rare with a side of buttered broccoli and the fresh fruit for desert

I chose the house chardonnay bottle- usually i will pick something nicer since it 50% off up to $100 , but just going with the flow

The amuse bouche was the mini burger.

Also- i bring my own pepper grinder!

Sorry to be a bore this evening but I'm just really tired. I will get that Smoky Watermelon margarita in the morning.

Yes Indeed and the elevators are packed!

 

I will say that it was quiet last night although I was pretty tired. Bed was comfy! I slept until 4, bathroom break then went right back to sleep and slept until 8:15- Absolute bliss!!!

played a little in the casino, had fun but my money was still separated from my wallet (how does that happen?) Done in the casino for today-I have a rule- I do not drink in the casino or go in the casino if I have had a few bevvies. Yes, I have been that person who had a few too many in the casino then looked at my statetment the next morning and was like "Holy Sh*t!!!!  Not doing that again!

 

ok, I'm off to go get that smoky watermelon margarita that I covet so much!!!

Going to street eats for lunch, if they dont have anything i like i will hit up Shaqs. For dinner tonight I'm thinking Emerils or Bonsai sushi.

My plan is to hang at pig and anchor for a bit, eat then chill on my balcony lounger.

Was your first dinner at a pay extra restaurant? If it was, how much extra was it?  I was wondering if you bought the special dining and drink packages?  I like lamb chops, but know I would have gotten the lobster.

Yes it was at a pay extra restaurant. I didnt do extra pay restaurants until a few years ago. The MDR is such a cluster the first night, and the stress of traveling, check in to the cruise etc...that i started booking specialty dining the first night. It is $49 and the 1st night a free bottle of chardonnay or merlot or 50% off any bottle up to $100.

Carnival does not have any dining packages
