Shore Excursions - Different if booked on the ship?

Are there different shore excursions if you book at the shore excursion desk than on-line before the cruise?

They should be the same, unless new ones come out. But by and large the same.

Book the ones you want to do. They tend to sell out on the ship.

I have noticed a few different ones on the ship that were not advertised online but if you no there is one you want, then prebook.

it can be a little cheaper to book excursions online before the cruise because you are locking in at TODAY pricing. Ive been on many cruises where the excursion price went up by like 5-10 dollars or so when you do board the ship

If there is something you really want, then book it in advance.

For our cruise last year, I wanted sunset cruise in Aruba and they never had one online so I booked a sightseeing excursion and when we boarded I went to the excursion desk and asked. They did have a sunset cruise, so we cancelled the sightseeing one and booked it.  It was one of our favorite excursions! We loved it!

I waited and booked on the ship.  But.  I had to wait in long lines, the employees at the cruise desk were not knowledgeable at all about the excursions, so - I would say if you see something on line, book it - then like Florida Mom said above, if you see something different on board that you want, cancel what you have and re-book!
