I would like to know this too. I have an email from SheerID stating my eligiblity for the offer had been verified, but there is nothing showing online in my booking and nothing from HAL. Emailed guest relations and received a case number a week ago, but no response. How hard could it be to show the OBC in the Navigator App?

Unfortunately OBC does not show. You can call and ask for an updated booking confirmation  - OBC will show on it.

Trying to get AARP SBC has reached the point of ridiculous, always told to reapply always get message I’ve already done it, then they tell my TA, they don’t see it. It’s such a confusing mess just like trying to book a table for 4 with your complimentary dinners, don’t think it can be done, both myself and TA have tried and only can book a table for 2. Their website needs someone to work on it that knows what they are doing.

If you ask 10 people at HAL, you’ll get 11 different answers. They have no clue what they’re doing with this. Same is true with the teacher/first responder OBC.  We assumed we weren’t getting it on our April cruise, but lie and behold it was there when we got onboard the ship!   Now we have 3 more upcoming cruises and can’t get a definitive answer on any of them. I’m taking my Sheet ID emails showing were verified and will ask at the desk once onboard if it’s not there.  TA tells me that HAL told him he couldn’t get it added and the passenger had to. I’ve been verified but don’t know how to add it. I asked the future cruise consultant in April and she said it was no problem, just have your TA add it for you.  Very frustrating!

It is possible to get an updated statement showing the obc from AARP  if you are working with a HAL cruise consultant. Ours did it within minutes after the request. Outside TAs may be another story but theoretically should be able to do the same. Good luck.

This is the summary we receive from our TA:

Advantage Fares - No Perks

Deposit is refundable until final payment.

$100 onboard credit per stateroom from Military.

$ 75 onboard credit per stateroom from Group Program.

$200 onboard credit per stateroom from AARP Program.

$400 onboard credit per stateroom added prior to sailing as our gift.

Total onboard credit - $775 per stateroom.

Again we have the military, and HAL told our TA we couldn’t have both. We have two cruises booked..one is a long one, and would sure like that credit.

You could have all 3. we do.

Carnival stock

AARP

Military

I did the Military verification online, but was told that I am not eligible because I booked it online through a Casino offer sent to me by my TA.  Will this also apply to my AARP and my stock certificate verification?

Can AARP be added to an existing booking for OBC? I called and was told it would have to be added within 72 hrs after the booking.

If we book a sailing and are offered a complimentary cabin from the Casino, we have not been able to apply AARP, Teacher's, or Stockholder OBC. However, if we book a sailing and receive a "Casino Discount," which has usually been a percentage off the cruise fare, then we have been able to add all of those OBC to our sailing.

I applied AARP to a booking about 2 months after the booking was made.  Did you do the AARP verification on the HAL website and receive a SheerID verification email?  IF not, that's your first step.  Then wait about a week and ask HAL for a booking confirmation and the OBC should show on the booking confirmation.  It was all automagic in my experience.

What about teacher? Technically it says new bookings on that one. (Not sure if AARP is worded differently)

Yes! It was a casino discount! I am going to try again! Thanks!

I called ship services this afternoon for husband and myself on one reservation number and my sister as a single in her own cabin. We did all the verifications a few weeks ago, a few months after our initial bookings. Ship services confirmed the $200 AARP, military for DH, stock holder and educator for me. They also confirmed my sister has teacher and AARP.  And they took care of a la carte dining reservations for the three of us.  Somewhere in the OBCs were anniversary and a state credit. Plus the shorex , crew appreciation Wi-Fi  and beverage program. And out TAs credit will post after final payment.
DH asked what I planned to do with all the $$$. Everyone is getting a Dutch vase for Christmas!

Is there a specific #? I'll probably wait a week as I just verified yesterday.

I called ship services at 800–541-1576 then a brief menu follows.i think I pressed 3 which is for dinner reservations etc for our future cruise  That’s the number that mariner desk gave me because I also wanted to do the 2 HIA dinner reservations using both cabins res numbers. Oh and they do ask a few specific security questions to confirm your identity and protect the booking. Otherwise mariner desk can also confirm the applied perks. Their number is 800-547-9139
