Suggestions for 60th Birthday Celebration on Beyond

Recommended Posts

The two of us will be on the Beyond June 2025 to the Caribbean for my 60th Birthday just the two of us.  We tried to get our friends to join us and most of our so called friends responded they were doing their hair that week.  I remember from high school what that meant.

Even on land I put invites out and no one comes over.  We splurged at got a MC Sky this cruise to celebrate.

Any suggestions how to make my birthday on board really memorable and special.  My birthday is a port day.

Do you plan to go ashore that day?
If not sleep in a little, then breakfast delivered by your Butler with a mimosa or Bloody Mary.  Maybe a couples massage in the afternoon and dinner at LeVoyage.

Le Voyage isn’t perfect but it’s great for a special occasion.  Eden is great too!

P.S.  I’m not busy that week, so….

Georgetown Grand Cayman...meh been there done that.  Good idea sleeping in.  Good idea on the sleep in since Laminae is open until 9.

For us, the cruise IS the celebration, but milestone birthdays do get a bit of a bonus.  Obviously, a specialty restaurant on the ship is a great treat, and a birthday cake too.

But, depending upon the port and the length of time in port, a local restaurant for the celebration might be a great treat too.

For me, likely it would still be mostly a "port day as usual" where we would get out and about to explore and have our usual great time, but back on board, even the MDR and a nice tiramisu dessert would be a lovely end to a great birthday.  Add in a show and maybe a quick spin at the casino, and I'm pretty good to go 🙂. But, in that case, that's not any different than any other day on a cruise. 😅🤣😂

To your side comment, it is still amazing to me how hard it is to find friends and family who actually would join us on a cruise.  Too often, they're just "stuck" in their own rut, but it is still just amazing that folks aren't as jazzed about both travel and pampering and all the fun stuff we enjoy on a cruise. I could understand better if they listed off some of the fun alternatives they might be enjoying instead, but often it's the "doing my hair" level of mundane.  It's not my job to convince them, but man is it strange to me.

Have a Great Birthday Cruise 🚢

Try to enjoy all the things on the ship you don’t usually have or do at home.

Food , drinks , music etc…..

Celebrate the whole cruise…..

All The Best 🍻🍨🍀🤩🎂🎈🎉
