Old_tilly_billy Posted July 2 #1 Share Posted July 2 Did this issue ever get resolved on Azura. I remember it was very bad around Malabar.
Camberley Posted July 2 #2 Share Posted July 2 I’m so sorry, I simply had an extra serving of the lentil curry from the buffet and took to the lifts
FangedRose Posted July 2 #3 Share Posted July 2 I've never been on a ship that wasn't whiffy sometimes in some places some of the time.
Rare carlanthony24 Posted July 2 #4 Share Posted July 2 From October last year smelt iffy once and that was while refuelling or loading oil.

ovccruiser Posted July 3 #6 Share Posted July 3 (edited) Cruised on her in February this year and had one small whiff of a not nice smell, for a brief second or two but can't remember where I was on the ship, I would hazard a guess on the promenade deck somewhere though. Last year it smelt in Tenerife. That may not have been down to Azura though.
purplesea Posted July 3 #8 Share Posted July 3 Have cruised on Azura on many occasions, most recently in Janurary, and have never smelt anything unpleasant.

Screwy123 Posted July 8 #10 Share Posted July 8 We were on her in May and she had the horrible stink a good few days.
Wivvy Posted July 8 #11 Share Posted July 8 I find it incredible that this stench still hasn't been fixed. We first experienced it in 2019, and it was described as 'temporary'. I wonder how long a hotel with a stench of sewage would be allowed to remain open?

It was certainly there last December, and it was so bad they eventually closed the doors at each end to prevent people walking through that area. Also there were buckets out and the carpets were wet with whatever was causing the foul stench - it wasn't just a mild 'whiff'.
