Ventura loyalty lunch

Is your boarding time early enough for lunch. They aren't letting people board early than the time on your pass.

If they qualify for the loyalty lunch they would have priority boarding. Usually the bus passengers get pushed through when the buses get in but as long as the bus is early enough they should make it?

The lunch finished at 3pm (last entry) on Aurora, when we were on there last autumn for a B2B and met relatives in Southampton.  Not sure about our cruise this year, as we arrived early, as per our embarkation time.  Not sure if it finishes at the same time on all ships, but may well do so.

Unfortunately the intercruise coaches now all seem to have later arrival times, the northern ones don't arrive until 3:00pm, which is too late for the embarkation lunch.

If it turns out that you are too late for it, you might console yourselves with the fact that sometimes it is only a buffet with long, long queues and not worth the hassle (our experience last time - we walked out in the end having wasted half an hour queueing for a fairly basic buffet lunch that we never got near!).

In April the coaches arrived at normal times despite boarding being delayed for a deep clean.

Were these Intercruises or Eaveway coaches, the latter still arrive around 1:00 - 2;00 pm.

I was on Ventura in March and the lunch finished at 3pm.

I was on a coach from Lancaster which arrived around 1pm so on the ship by 1.30pm

Fingers crossed we'll get there approx same time

We shall be starting our holiday with free fizz, if we get there in time

Just to put my five penny worth in as usual. Sorry if it offends.

We love the embarkation lunch. It is one of the highlights of the cruise.

Normally 12.00 embarkation, straight to the lunch.

Sparkling wine followed by large amounts of white wine and finishing off with gin and tonics.

We find the buffet excellent, the sit down not so much to our taste, but still lovely.

Then to our cabin about 2.30 to unpack.

if you have encountered the horrendous A12, the even worse M25, and the not so bad M3, a lovely welcome lunch is much appreciated.

In my honest opinion the embarkation lunch is the best benefit of being Baltic tier.

May it continue.
