Does Princess allowed you too disembark early? The issue is Paris is the night before we disembark in Southampton. Could we disembark in Paris?

Assume you are interested in disembarking in Le Havre? You would have to request and get approval Prior. There have been instances where the ship ‘misses’ the port because of weather or other issues, so have a plan B.

Yes, disembarkation in leHarve has been allowed in the past. Some things to consider:

You have to receive a route deviation from Princess

leHarve is 3 hours one way from the port of leHarve. You have to have a plan to travel to Paris.

We’ve done it. Just let Princess know ahead of time and confirm with the pursers desk on board. You’ll get special disembark tags and can choose your time of departure.

We did this a few years ago and were fortunate that the ship actually docked in LeHarve.  As previously noted, ships at times have been unable to dock either due to weather issues or at times strikes by dock or transit workers.  Once we disembarked we rented a car and drove to Honfleur for a night and then spent 3 nights in Bayeux which included a day tour to the Normandy D-day beaches.  We then drove to Paris to turn in the rental car and spent 3 nights in the city.  But you must request a deviation from Princess in advance.  Your TA or PVP should be able to assist with this.

We had plans, approved by Princess, last May to disembark at La Harve and the port was missed due to a strike.  We scrambled to change our plans.
