Rare Trish Traveler Posted September 2 #1 Share Posted September 2 Is the $25 deposit on the Labor Day Sale refundable? I can't find the info online. I want to hold a possible cruise for winter, but won't know for sure if the date is doable for a couple of weeks. It's pretty full, so I probably should just book it with the risk of losing $50, even though I would prefer not. I do know the Princess sale $99 deposit is refundable for the cruise I was looking at, so might just choose something there. TIA
StLouisCruisers Posted September 2 #2 Share Posted September 2 This is what the terms and conditions say. Standard refund and cancellation conditions apply. So it seems it's a refundable deposit.
Rare POA1 Posted September 2 #3 Share Posted September 2 It depends on how you book it. You can book either way, refundable or non-refundable.
FrankieSue Posted September 2 #4 Share Posted September 2 I did a $25 deposit booking (non refundable)…. The refundable option cost $200 more, it did not make sense to me…
mcrcruiser Posted September 2 #5 Share Posted September 2 Got to look closely at these deals . because there always seems to be a catch in them
KAKcruiser Posted September 3 #6 Share Posted September 3 If you book the $25 deposit with a private (mariner) rate, it is nonrefundable.
HSBC Posted September 7 #7 Share Posted September 7 I would like to book a nonrefundable cruise instead of Have It All refundable cruise as nonrefundable cruise is $1,000 cheaper. I am waiting for the next $25 deposit promotion (assume this is nonrefundable) If I cancel my nonrefundable cruise prior to the final payment date, is the worst thing to lose $25 deposit? Thanks! I assume not every itinerary to be included in this $1 Deposit Sale. I won't find out which itineraries to be included until 2024 September 10, would Canadian travel agent have advanced information on itineraries prior to September 10? Thanks!
