The view from our balcony this morning.  I think they forgot to clean our balcony in the dry dock. Paint drips all over the deck and furniture.  I'll mention it to Farrell today.  Our balcony is fully covered.

We have been on Royal Class ships so much recently, we forgot the Coral has small balconies.

Our bulletin board, so far...

Here is the passenger count for this voyage:

Blue-         505

Gold-         250

Ruby-        203

Platinum- 494

Elite-         499

Total-        1,951

I'm a bit surprised the percentage of Elites isn't larger. Any idea what the cutoff for the most traveled passenger event is?

Not yet.  I'll let you know as soon as I find out.

I went to the Fitness Center this morning.  Again, I forgot how small it is in comparison to the Grand and Royal class ships.  Only two Elliptical machines and nine Treadmills!  And, they are not Precor.  I do not care for the brand onboard, no TV's.  I bring my tablet so that does not affect me, but I heard several others complaining about it.

We are now in our "Happy Place!"

Our quiet little corner on the upper level.  We were the only ones in the Sanctuary during the morning session.  There were 5 other couples for the afternoon.  The Manager, Chiradet, and his staff are fantastic!

The Sanctuary pool was really nice.

The only photos allowed by Debbie by the pool, she is at the bottom of the photos, wearing a black cap.

We couldn't wait until the 3 pm Tea Time.  It did not dissapoint!  I'm sure glad I put in the hour on the Elliptical.  Chiradet brought the scones.

Now back to the cabin to prep for our first formal evening.

For this trip, I'm dual blogging.  I started a new blog on a different platform.  This was mainly for family members that are not fans of the CC format.  I'm still new to this new platform and I have a lot to learn as to formatting/posting.  If you check it out, bear with me as I learn.  Here is a link..

Same here. The only post drydock problems I've seen so far is that 2 of the midships elevators are out of service. A notice has been sent to rooms about the elevators so it seems they might be out awhile. Very nice new sofa in our cabin and it's going to be great sleeping on a good mattress instead of a big marshmallow.

They did not spend any time on our room for sure. Shower diverter does not work, the tub drain plug was out and there was no cold water. The toilet was hissing when we got on board and on flushes intermittently. And the sink drain is plugged.

The balcony glass door is double paned but has a leak so there are deposits on the inside of the glass that cannot be removed. Not much of a view through the muck.

Also not a good way to start a long trip. I am hoping to be able to get a shower within the next week or two. I hear there are only two plumbers on board and, with the comments I have overheard, it may be awhile.

@NownZen  WOW!  So sorry to hear about your cabin, no bueno!

Hopefully, they rectify the issues quickly.  Have you voiced your complaint to Guest Services?  I would demand to speak with the HGM, she seems very approachable.  We spoke to her last night in passing, in the Piazza.

At the meet and greet today I mentioned the unliveable noise levels in the pizza and mentioned the room issues a lady showed up and led me away. I figured she was going to throw me overboard but she took notes and said something would happen. If I cannot have a shower in the next couple of weeks the wife will start to complain.

Even the pizza is making noise? You really have had a bad start.

We are getting closer with the room. At first I thought they were being clever to help us. The air conditioning is not working properly in our section and the room is about 60 degrees independent of the thermostat settings. If we get out of a shower in those temperatures it would be uncomfortable. However, now that the shower is "working" I see that the problem is that the water is only tepid no matter the shower setting. So I can have a short shower. We may just leave the balcony door open to warm up the room although that will do nothing for the water temperature.

On another thread, a poster, not my personal experience, had a problem with a shower and was accomodated by being able to use the showers in the Spa. I do not know about the Coral, but some Grand Class ships have been converted to restrict access unless the passenger buys into the Spa. If showering is unpleasant, I wouldn't hesitate approaching them to grant you spa access for showering.

We also signed up for next week's Super Tuscan Wine Dinner at Sabatini's.  Cost $78.50 USD pp.  The menu is showing the cost in Australian dollars.

I wanted to thank everyone who responded with info on my dining room question.  I really appreciate your taking time from your vacation to help others share in the experience.

@LACruiser88 Good job on the blog. I find Blogspot very difficult to set up and navigate.

I'm definitely having issues with it!

Here is some "secret" info.  Below are the amount of passengers with the 3 different packages on this cruise of almost 2,000 passengers.

Plus Package- 600

Old Premier-   200

New Premier- 40

Please don't ask where I obtained these numbers.  🤫

Thank you so much for that info. Very interesting.
Previously you mentioned the MDR was not full. Are the SD venues full?
