Arno..............are you going to start a thread similar to Wolfcathorse on RCCL captains? It should be easier..........as their are fewer ships. Also, starting January 1st.........there is a new contract that allows the captains 10 weeks on and 10 weeks off, changing that from 14 and 14.

 

I believe that Anastasios Salessiotis is now commanding the Mercury. I will also find out if he will be back in time for our December cruise.

Only the captains know when they will take their holidays.. unless they tell one of us. Celebrity will not release this information

This list is not accurate because there are holiday replacements as well as transfers since I sailed on these ships

I thought Captain Papanikalou was on Constellation? He must be on vacation then. He is my favorite. I can only hope to see him again next year on Millennium, although, not likely.

Captain Michail Margaritas was master of Zenith Feb 2005

Captain Panagiotis Skylogiannis was master of Summit Dec 2005

I do not know if they were the regular masters or in a rotation.

Just sailed the Zenith Aug 5th to the 12th. The Master of the Zenith is

 

Captain Theodore Mitropoulos. And as you posted Don FLuke is the cruise

 

director. He is very personable and will try to answer all of your questions

 

and concerns. Hope this helps.
