Who's Your Captain & Cruise Director?

When we disembarked Galaxy on June 2nd, Shawn Cavanah was going on a holiday. I do not know if he is back but no-one has given a replacement's name. Shawn is good at providing daytime activities but some find his humor grating.

 

Thanks for the info, we shall just see what fate brings for us. I am looking forward to the experience.

I am going to assume that Captain Papanikalou is on holiday? I know he was on Constellation through the TA back in April.

I don't mind him at all. I can't think of any CD that has provided more of the activites that we first enjoyed on Zenith. He has always encouraged his staff to be creative and we treasure him as a result. I am just reporting what some people have said about him in the past. We look forward to having him as a CD. On the other hand, Captain Peppas does not run a happy ship. Members of the crew on board are much better at their jobs than he is.

We were on the British Isles/Nor Fjords cruise on 7/15-7/29. Derek Habraken was cruise director.

You are right, Arno. There were so many things to do and so many different things to do on our sail back then. Remember, Julie, the litttle vivacious redhead? She left X to work with Park West as an auctioneer. She was so very sweet. I would love to see her again. She gave us her email but it has never gone through. I guess I wrote it down wrong. Please tell Shawn hello for us when you see him.

As of 8/6 Captain Dimitrios Kafetzis joined the Infinity as Captain and Cher Zorilla was the CD.

Cher had been on the Infinity as part of the activities staff on the April cruise on Infinity.

Thanks Rick. I think I'll add the columns for the regular captain and the rotation date as soon as I get confirmation from people who talk to the "Masters". I'm going to bring my notebook with me when I cruise on Century and get a chance to talk to some of the officers.

A bit off topic, but does anyone know what happened to Captain Terry Konstantinides ? I have not seen him listed on any of these lists. We sailed with him on Century or Summit roughly 2 years ago, and he was very personable.

Will Simon Weir be back soon?

 

Simon Weir currently is the Hotel Director on Millennium. When the regular Hotel Director, Renato Chizzola, returns from his 6 week vacation, Simon Weir will resume his tasks as Mirellennium's Cruise Director.

Captain Papanikola (sp) Constellation went on vacation on 1 June at Copenhagen handing over to Captain Bouzakis. He told us he was going to Greece for a while and then back to England for the rest of his trip where his wife and family are just outside Manchester. He was lovely. Given he went on hols 1 June that might help you work out when he is back.

We have saidled with Capt Skylogiannis a few times and wonder will he be on or off Summit on 28 Oct

Only someone getting off Summit will be able to tell us. Overall they're all great.

What happened to Damian DeLorenzis? (I hope I spell that right.) I have had him as Cruise Director on Infinity 2 times, and friends had him on Infinity as recently as May of this year.

That is a very good idea. Perhaps you can make a separate "Unknown Status-Information Needed" Column. Perhaps some of our friends here, can supply information as it becomes available.
