I'm sitting a couple of hundred yards away from Mercury in the Best Western in San Diego. The sun is shining and weather updates on TV indicate that many of you will be sufferring in the cold as we make our way slowly to Miami.

Life can be so wonderful when you consider the misery of others... but only briefly... Sorry but my timing this year was perfect with the onset of winter in the midwest.. :D

CD is Derek.....and sorry, I can't think of his last name...starts with

an H I believe.

He is from Canada.

I am pretty sure that Dru came to Century in Mid - Late November. He should be on in January, but I am not 100% sure.

sorry to hear about that. We had so much fun with him on the Mercury. I knew it was only a matter of time though. Once he got married and his wife was staying in Vegas, sooner or later she'd be keeping him in town.

Arno...........do you think it would be a good idea to have the dates that the masters started on their rotation rather than a confirmation date. I noticed that we had Nickos Frantzis on the Mercury, but I believe he came aboard on Oct 30. This will give some an idea when the reliever will be aboard.

 

Just a thought!

No - he actually has left Summit to go on vaction from what we last heard. Also heard that he will be heading to Millennium after his vacation. Can anyone confirm this? I hope that is true as we will be on board 3/11/07.

true. John told us this on Summit in Nov which was also his last trip on Summit before the move after over 2 years on the ship

Yes, I am pretty sure that John is on vacation now, and his next assignment (I believe) is Millennium when he returns from vacation. It will be nice to have John back in Florida, when Millennium is sailing the Caribbean.

 

Allan King will be the regular Cruise Director on Summit when he returns from vacation.

Don Fluke is currently CD on Constellation. He is an excellent CD. However, Don will definitely be on Vacation in March. I know because I asked him, as I am sailing on Constellation on 3/23/07. I would love to know who the next CD will be, but I do not have that information. If I find out anything, I will post it here.

Thanks. He was Captain on our last cruise and we did find him very friendly. Robin was our CD so I guess it's anyone's guess who will replace him in the rotation.
