who really cares????? Sorry don't know my pilot or Hotel manager either.

 

I guess it would mean somnething if I wanted to scam a Captains dinner and free booze?:)

 

Any other parties that he's holding where I can drink free and thus not complain about the corkage charge?:mad:

 

Damn I forgot, I have kids, thus am persona non-grata as far as the Captain is concerned.....

That's why we have the freedom to post cruise related topics that interest some of us... and the ability to skip topics that are of no personal interest.... We all have the option to waste our time where we want....:cool:

Just off Mercury on 11/10. Stewart Turnbull is delightful--apparently he was trained by Simon Weir. He told us that, after his vacation, Simon will be working as Hotel Manager rather than Cruise Director (I can't remember which ship). Apparently, it is a move up, but I will really miss Simon!

Just off the Millennium (10/29-11/10). We spoke with Simon several times during our cruise. He is looking forward to the next phase of his career as Hotel Director. His first assignment will be on the Mercury sailing Australia and New Zealand in January 07. Also, his wife is in early pregnancy.

Will he be starting as Hotel Director on Mercury in January 07? or waiting until fall 2007 when Mercury goes to Australia. Mercury is scheduled for Mexico and Panama canal runs followed by Alaska until the fall.:confused:

Oh Dear! Now I'm confused, because that is what I thought he said. I do know he will be Hotel Director on the Australia/New Zealand itinerary.

I noticed, however, a typo in the name of the captain of the Galaxy. Unlike the famous drink ;) , his name is "Margaritis".

Arno, thanks for keeping this list current. I like to know who is where. (Well, was who on 1st or 3rd?) We think of you every time we go to a trivia game. We are taking a short B2B on Century next week. Then nothing planned until the last Zenith cruise in April. How sad to see her go.

I see that Michael Karatsas is the master again on Millie, so how long would he stay as the master until his next vacation? would it be 4 months or longer?

Just curious to have an idea if he would still be master in February 2007 when I go on her....

Last I heard Capt. Pagonis was on Century, but he may be due for a vacation. I am on Century in 9 days, so I will let you know when I am back home. I would be thrilled if Capt. Pagonis is onboard, but it looks like we will just miss him.

Hi Andy:

Captain Pagonis just returned as Master of Century October 6th. We were told that he had been slated to go to Summit but came back to Century after cleaning out all his belongings when he left for his last holiday.
